I was just on the DVC site and noticed under perks that they have "Now Available! Exclusive Disney Vacation Club products from the Walt Disney World Florist" choices of Welcome Home Mug ,Morning Wake-Up,Welcome Home Family Pack(includes a craft kit and a DVD) and Disney Vacation Club Wine & Cheese (this one sounds real...nice includes A packable, zippered Disney carry-all holds a Disney Vacation Club logo blanket, fruit, cheese, crackers, two Mickey-silhouette wine glasses, a Mickey wine stopper and a bottle of chardonnay, cabernet or white zinfandel) Has anyone used the WDW florist before with DVC products?

What a neat idea! I haven't seen it before but will check it out now.

I never noticed that before. Heading over to check it out!

Oh my goodness. my DH is going to be so diappointed I read this.
He can hear the AMEX screaming now.

I would love to order one of these as a surprise for dh and ds when we arrive next week, but can I justify the prices??? ;) Dh would probably think they are cute until I tell him the cost! Can you purchase those mugs at the resorts? This is our first visit as dvc members and we love to collect coffee mugs! :sunny:

I had WDW Florist deliver two beautiful, arrangements as a surprise, to SSR in June upon our arrival for my DW and DSL. The arrangements arrived earlier than we did, but the CM delivered them to the room for us. Granted it was a little pricey, but they were beautiful and included small Mickey's in the arrangement. DW & DSL were so happy with them they talked about them every time we walked in the door (because they placed them right at the entrance to our room). I would recommend them highly, just expect it to be pricey.

LauraJean Do not feel bad. It took me a while to find this myself. Go to member perks and scroll down quite a bit, after they talk about discounts on tours you will see the DVC products mentioned which can be ordered through disneyflorist. If you still can not find it, go to the disneyflorist site and you will see a link for DVC arrangements on the left. Hope this helps.
Good Luck. :flower:

Thanks, I wish I could have done that for Laurajean. As you can tell, not too computer savy here. ;)

Shoot I want the clock AND the Blanket!!! The glasses arent bad either...

I think I will treat myself when we go down for Christmas!!

jiggerj: Why did you have to post about these items? :rotfl: I am only joking but, now I really am tempted to order one of these baskets for our first DVC trip next week. I love the alarm clock and blanket, too.

Can anyone tell me if you can purchase these DVC mugs at the resort gift shops? If you can, then maybe we will just treat ourselves to those since they probably are not too expensive. ;) THANKS!!

Those are great! :) I hope they still have the wine & cheese one when dh and I go down for our anniversary next year. :love2:

I bought a Disney Christmas Tree from the Florist one year when we were at Disney for Christmas. It was not cheap -- $200 5 years ago, but Oh My Goodness, it was beautiful and I had it shipped home and we've enjoyed it ever since.

I really wish they'd come out with actual DVC shirts, jackets and stuff like that. That is what I'd pay top dollar for.

Oh great, more stuff for me to spend my $$ on, doesn't Disney get enough of my cash? :rotfl2:
The wine basket does give me ideas for next years romantic trip, however.

:teeth: uh oh...I didn't see the alarm clock! :)

jiggerj: HI! I just posted a question on the DVC community board about buying the coffee mugs at the resort shops. I tell you ever since I read your post last night I have been going back and forth with first, Should I order something for next week, Will dh be mad if I do? ;) If I order, which one, the alarm clock one with the coffee mugs, the wine with the DVC blanket, etc. :teeth: Now, I really need help!! I think I have too much free time right now, not a good thing!! ;)

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about the DVC stuff. We sent a champagne basket to honeymooners last month and they raved about it. I am so going to have to get the wine and cheese basket for our upcoming trip, (and I don't even drink or eat cheese). I love it, I just won't mention the cost to DH. We've been married long enough that he usually doesn't even bother to ask the cost anymore, and really, how often do we splurge like that? Anyhow, what's going to bother him more is transporting the glasses home without breaking them. He loves when I do stuff like that. Three years ago when my sister sent us a basket with the Mickey glasses in it, he actually wanted to know why we had to take them home. "We have enough glasses." Is he kidding?
