DH and I did the tour in October, 2005. There was a card in our room at WL offering $100 for taking the tour. We went, we signed, had ice cream, and got the nice beach bag.
Ok, so how do you set up a meeting with them? I dont think we could ever afford it but listening to the details would be helpfull in knowing if we could EVER even if in the future.
There are DVC Information Centers
everywhere. I know that every resort has one, and there is at least one in every park. Here are the locations of some that I remember
Epcot: By the "bridge" from Future World to the World Showcase
By American Adventure
MGM: By Sci-Fi Drive In
On Sunset Boulevard on the way to RNRC
Magic Kingdom: By the Astro Orbitor
Animal Kingdom: By Pizzafari
Downtown Disney: ?
We just stopped at the desk at WL where we were staying and made the arrangements. There was a van to pick us up in about 20 minutes.
They will pick you up and return you to wherever you want. The van picked us up at WL where we were staying. When we were finished, they took us to MGM studios.
When I attended the presentation in March at the Disneyland resort, I got a $50 gift card for Disneyland, two premium annual passes (which I am getting for DisneyWorld-since I am going there next year) and points from 2005, without having to pay the full year's maintenance fees. I think that was reasonable (even though I didn't get a sundae
We did it in January or February and all we got was the $50.00 gift card, and free drinks and snacks too I think. We went with some others who were interested, we only went to get the cash...lol
We're marriott timeshare owners and for us its easier to just trade into the places in Florida. We didnt like the fact that its not for a lifetime with DVC, thought that was very odd.
So we've traded into the Grand Vista since thats the one I picked out and we're gonna head to FL in just a few weeks, May to be exact....WooHoo...
Oh, hello Lordog...I saw you're from Tracy. I'm just down the road in Brentwood, stop by sometime and say howdy...
