Is the advanced purchase Beer Mug gift package for $14.95 the same as the one onboard?

It's the same..... IMO it's better to just buy it on board, full of beer, then to have to wait for your room to be ready and then carry it to lunch or dinner

We purchased in advance. One less thing on my tab at the end and it was a nice surprise waiting in our room for my DH.

What I would add is that the one time I preordered they actually ran out onboard and so having a preorder was the only way you could guarantee you have one. This was on a WBTA as they had run out in Europe. This is rare though but something to think about.
