IS Jiko's menu on disney world.com accurate?

Thank you for the updated menu! The fish is my mom's favourite entree. Sadly, my favourite short rib is currently off menu. @armerida Did they happen to say if the short rib and the elk will be back when the Lion King Prix Fixe ends?

The Bison is what I wanted, so I am pretty torn with this ADR. I wanted to do one meal at AKL, but it is either Jiko or HDDR for that night. I have to say, after watching the Disney dining review of the prix fixe menu I am more interested in giving it a go than I was at first.

So our server actually offered that they had a few preparations of the short rib on hand if we wanted it! But no elk. Both will return when the Circle of Life menu is done, yay!

Oooo! That is amazing to hear, the short rib is hands down my favourite entree. One of our servers taught me an amazing hack...get the short rib, over the mac and cheese with the sambal sauce AND the tomato butter sauce from the fish entree both on the side. Absolutely heavenly.

Yum! Our server was Aubrey - she’s so great, had her for our anniversary last year and then this year the other night too. Definitely ask her about the short rib and I think you should be good to go!

Does anyone know when the normal menu will come back? I'm going in the beginning of November and would prefer the normal menu...

They haven't said the specific date, but most of those that have asked have been told it was set to run about six weeks, so that would be sometime in September. Who knows if they will hold it over or not. I am hoping if it goes away they keep the entertainment.

That menu may not be completely accurate because they can change at any time, but they have cut down a lot on the number of dishes offered.

I didn't know until now that Jiko was on OT! Thanks for the head's up. Now I can switch our Jiko ADR to OT and make an ADR for Tiffins so we can decide later what to do. It's also our arrival night -- while the ease of eating at AKL is appealing after a travel day, heading over to DAK for dinner then seeing Pandora at night (which we've never done) also sounds really cool.
