Laura - I plan to plan better next year. I was hoping to be able to stay through the weekend this year but finances just wouldn't allow it this time. I am just sorry that you all had to deal with the torrential downpours. Safe travels today!!

I can't wait for vacation, 6 more days I hope I dont get sick leading up to it Working this overnight shift on the weekends is insane, I'm not getting the sleep I need before the shift starts, and I'm not getting enough sleep when I get back
I've got the overnight shift again tonight...Then I'm off tomorrow, work my normal 3pm-11pm Tues, Wed, Thurs, then I'm on vaca and I leave early Sat morn.

Almost all finished packing, well bringing things to the suiitcase in the basement...I've been told pets understand packing, and I dont want to freak Beauty out...I'm already a wreck about leaving her for so long

To my Jamborini/Kidanite Food & Wine Festival Friends:

All I can say is plan your trip next year so that you can attend one or both nights of the Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic. It is BEYOND AMAZING!!

First night was outdoors on the Causeway as planned - WONDERFUL!! Tonight was indoors due to the monsoon outside and it was even better!!!

Todd English was there both nights! I didn't see any other celebrity chefs but the food and wine were AWESOME!! (Deb Wills was there both nights too! )

Swan/Dolphin definitely knows how to throw a party!

I read some other great reviews, is it always the second weekend in October?

this morning David and I went to Brunch in accordance with the Baltimore Beer Week, and had a wonderful farm to table meal, with lots of beer, I think we have tot take a nap now... will catch up later....

Morning was VERY wet (but we managed).

VERY wet down here at WDW....we haven't floated away yet, but I'm thinking of building an ark so I can start loading animals.

Ok sorry but after reading through this entire thread I have to say there really needs to be seperate threads for resort info that actually only gets updates about the resort and one for fans of a resort. Sorry but I'm looking for info on the AKL. I thought the review on Maryland was nice but I'm not going there. I'm going to Disney.

I think I found the other thread. It looks like it hasn't been updated in some time. Your right that I thought this was the resorts thread. I deffinetly will post something once we are back but I'm still in final planning mode. Thank you.
