Is anyone off work Friday because of Pres. Reagan?

I know two people who work for NY State government who were told their offices would be closed.

I work for Dept of Justice so I'm off. Which is great, because I was gonna take 1/2 day off anyway.

Well, according to my DH since I'm a SAHM, "I'm off every day". Yeah, right!

We're waiting to hear if DH's office is closed. I'm hoping he is because he took Thursday off because it's my birthday & if he's off Friday, that means a 4 day weekend - woo hoo!

We are not off, but all State offices in CT are closed. I guess Governor Rowland is trying to improve his popularity ratings since they are absolutely the lowest of low and the legislators are about to impeach him for corruption. Oh well, must be nice to work for the government.

Nope, I have to work. My friend who works in a financial office is off though since Wall Street is closed. Thats ok I go on vacation the following Friday for 9 days BY MYSELF with NO KIDS and NO HUSBAND!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO

Another financial service company here, so we just heard we're off on friday. If the kids have school, I can get some stuff done in the yard, finally.

I work for a Housing Authority and we are closed. DS has a half day of school and DH works in a casino so I get the whole morning to my self. Yipeee!

School is still on here and my wife is working. Friday is my regular day off anyway.

I work for Bureau of Reclamation and I am off. It was a scheduled day off for me anyway, now I can take a 4-day weekend or keep it as credit hours.
