Does anyone know the price for the on-ship internet cafe access? On my cruise I will need internet access very briefly - I'll basically just have to log into a website and tick a box then log out, should take 2 minutes, but it is time-sensitive and I'll need to do it during my cruise. I was thinking that I could just sit down for 2 minutes at the internet cafe on board and take care of it, rather than dealing with the wifi access on my phone and worrying that I go over my limit. Are the computers at the internet cafe still there and still available? TIA

There are no internet cafes on the ships any longer. But, you can access the internet through your own phone or tablet. It sounds like the free package would take care of your needs.

There a no internet cafes... They were taken out. You can sign up for free 50 mb the first day, then save it for when you need it using your phone
laptop or tablet and dcl wifi.

OK thanks. I guess I will get the free 50MB and hope that I don't go over when I need it!

I got it on our Fantasy cruise several years ago. I was able to do alot more than just logging into a site and checking a box before it ran out. Probably spent 45 minutes or so on FB and other sites.

A suggestion would be to log on to the site on whatever device you will be using while you still have internet service so it can cache some of the elements from the page. Less to have to download, even though what it does will probably be pretty small anyway.

If you're worried about going over and it's going to charge you, it won't, it just stops working.
If you need it for the 2 minutes you should be fine with some left over I would think.

You can stop by the connect at sea desk if you want to make sure anything else that will use up the internet is switched off.

Also, make sure you sign out when you're not using it, or your free wifi will be gone in no time.

Make sure you get it right when you board. There are times that I almost forgot to get the offer before the first day was over. Also, be sure to just stay logged out until you need to use it.
