Interesting new AP TICKET offer

Make sure you prioritize your tickets so the right one is used.

HopperFan... How do I do that?? These passes can only be purchased at the parks... is that some they can do for me??

Yes. They can do that at Guest Relations, not sure about ticket desk.

Imagine your tickets as sitting in a queue, the scanners will use the first one they see. You want them to see the new ticket.

I would normally deactivate it on MDE but since you have FP+ attached to it, I wouldn't do that, just let GR handle it.

AND before you leave WDW, check your MDE to make sure they did it right. Much easier to fix before you leave.

I have an AP and I just bought one day tix at full price for the other 4 in my family to use in a couple weeks. Wish I knew before!

I was just trained on this and I was told it's considered a promotional ticket and is therefore not price bridged. You can upgrade it but it's worth what was paid for it.

Thank you for the quick response! The friend I had in mind apparently already bought her pass last night so I'm glad she didn't miss out on a deal.

Btw, I love how Disney has been trying to discourage AP holders from coming to the parks because we don't give enough revenue in their eyes, but they want us to come and bring a friend now that attendance is low. That's cute, Disney.

Probably a silly question, but I'll ask anyway: These tickets would have to be used during the listed time frame, right? They can't be purchased now and used later?

If they are doing this, I can't wait to see what the Bounce Back offers in the rooms might be. I'm so pissed we missed out (medical reasons) on 50% off at the Grand Floridian years ago

They have to be used the same day you purchase them.

They cut back big time on the free dining offers during this timeframe, but now they're making an offer like this. No surprise to me that they need to make decent offers to keep capacity up this time of year between the weather and back-to-school.

@ravenclawtrekkie - just a couple questions if you don't mind! As an AP holder, can I buy a ticket for someone for later that day or do they have to be at the ticket window? Have someone flying in who won't get to the park until around 11. I'd like to go early and buy their ticket earlier that morning so we don't have to wait in line once they get there and so I could work on booking their FPP's earlier in the day (the main drawback I see to this promotion is no advance FPP's). Any idea if that would be possible?

I didn't receive an AP newsletter. I am new to being an AP holder (since June). Did I need to sign up for something to receive this?
The AP emails and delivery of The Mickey Monitor are,unfortunatley,inconsistent-I have had years where I got everything and years where I got nothing.

I have already bought a three day non-hopper ticket for my MIL for Sept. trip
Can I keep that, reassign it and then buy her one day tickets each day for three days (if its 79 each day then that would be 237 total compared to 308 that I paid)

I don't see why not, the three day ticket doesn't expire until 14 days after first use, just make sure if you have it on MDE that at the tap style the system is using the right ticket

OP - thanks for posting this. I had not heard of it and didn't get a newsletter (by mail or email).

The written policy doesn't mention the guest of the pass holder having to be present at time of purchase, but this is an ongoing debate between CMs this morning and management is seeking clarification.

Thanks for the info.... I wish I could receive the emails. Oh well.

So for MK we would have to go to the TTC first to buy it that day? Kind of inconvenient for resort guests using Disney transportation.
