No it was like 10 cassettes or CDs in the mail for .99 then you get signed up for a monthly membership

Probably the same concept with the obligatory purchases being overpriced I still think they were a good deal overall for Disney movie club!

My 9 year old daughter is now listening to my old CDs since she got a CD player for Christmas......

You had to send a card in every month saying that you did NOT want the selection of the month (eg Molly Hatchet), or it would automatically be shipped to you at retail price. And you were required to buy something like 4 albums at regular price over the following year after you joined. Overall it was a very cheap way to build up your music library while likely receiving several unwanted titles along the way!

CCV might or might not go up, but it probably won't carry over the current incentives. At least, I would not expect it.
