I was shocked to see that there is a new AP ticket offer:

It seems that you only need to be present for the purchase.

Not sure if they're at a tipping point. But the ship has changed course. It seems they're starting to see the ramifications of recent management decisions.

My BIL and SIL have Florida resident AP's. Would that be good for them also. Their daughter is down visiting from NY and is going home on Saturday and would love to go to the park on Friday.

Lol. I live in the UK. We have small streets but I'm not paying their airfare!

It's also for a traditional period of low park attendance. Seems more like an effort to get people into the parks during what's normally "1" to "3" attendance level days.

I was just trained on this and I was told it's considered a promotional ticket and is therefore not price bridged. You can upgrade it but it's worth what was paid for it.

I didn't receive an AP newsletter. I am new to being an AP holder (since June). Did I need to sign up for something to receive this?

I am a current annual passholder, and my husband and I are going to Food and Wine Festival in Sept. I have already bought him a 2-day ticket in order to book FP+. Would I be able to hold that 2 day ticket to use for our annual family trip in February and purchase these passes instead for him?? Will that affect the FP+ already set?? I would love to be able to save a little money for this trip and just use his ticket for another trip. Let me know if you think this would work??

No reason why it wouldn't. FP+ are tied to a person, not a specific ticket.
