This special day was Friday, October 24th. We had arrived the Saturday prior and had been to all the parks, resort hopped, did the Halloween party and gone to Springs several times already. We did not do a park the day before this challenge. We’re not crazy! Or are we?

We’ve been to Disney many times and always wanted to try this. This day was something we planned and strategized over for months. We spent many walks building up our step stamina and planning our trip. We chose to do a picture, snack, ride and show in all 4 parks.

Who’s the ‘we’? See pic below.

Original plan
AK 8-10:30. LL for Safari, Navi and LK.
MK 11-2
Epcot 2:30-5:30
HS 6-9:00

Just a few weeks before our trip, we had to change our park order for the day. We originally planned to end at MK to watch HEA fireworks. Then we realized that it was a party day. So the plan was AK, MK, Epcot and last HS. Side note- we saw HEA on Wednesday that week. It was insane! Crowded like I’ve never seen. Not fun.

We took the bus from Pop to AK. After a short ride we were inside the park by 8:10. We took our pic and headed to the Safari ride. We had a LL for 8:30 and were well on our way to the savanna by then. It was an amazing ride. The baby elephant trumpeted. Our guide said she had never heard that. The baby was chasing a bird. Magical moment.

After that we had the French toast at Satuli Canteen 10/10. Would get again.

Our next LL was for Lion King. It was wonderful as always. After that we headed to the bus and left for MK at 11:00.IMG_3372.jpegIMG_3341.jpegIMG_3366.jpegIMG_3384.jpeg

Park 2- MK. Arrived at 11:18. LL for Pirates at 11:35. At 12:00 we did Tiana. After, we went to Country Bears at 12:30 and completed MK with a Mickey pretzel and cheese. Had to get one of those in on this day. We ended up hopping in line to get a pic with Mickey at 1:05. We were on the monorail to Epcot at 1:17.

Park 3-Epcot. Arrived by 1:45. Enjoyed some festival food. We had the fry flight from Fry Basket and beef skewer from Flavors of Fire. We got in the single rider line for TT and rode that around 3:00. We rode Soarin at 3:45 and then Remy. For our show we wanted to see Voices of Liberty but our timing did not work out. We walked to Japan and saw the drummers at 4:45. We enjoyed some crème brûlée on our way to the Skyliner. At 5:10, we were on our way to Pop for a quick break. After a quick freshen up at Pop which included new socks and sneakers, we were walking into HS at 6:15. After our pic, we watched the Frozen show at 6:30. We love that. 7:05 was MMRR. After that we ate at ABC Commissary. I had the buffalo chicken grilled cheese. L had the grilled chicken salad. We debated Fantasmic but we had seen it earlier in the week and had a 9:00 a.m. flight.IMG_3510.jpegIMG_3474.jpegIMG_3478.jpegIMG_3483.jpegIMG_3485.jpeg

One last thing to add. We had a pixie dust moment at Pop. Thursday we stopped in the lobby for celebration pins. The sweetest cast member was so excited for us. She said she had worked for Disney for over 30 years and had always wanted to do a 4 park challenge day. She was very interested in our plans and asked us to stop in and let her know how our day went. Meanwhile she left us a sweet card and the 4 park pins you see in the photo in our room that day. We wanted to buy a souvenir in each park, something like a pen or magnet with each park name, but after checking out the gift shops earlier that week, we just couldn’t find the right thing. So the pin was perfect and so thoughtful. We did treat ourselves to the color changing mugs which were also a challenge to find. We had to go to the Swan Hotel after the AKL gift shop tracked them down. We love them!

It was a great day that we’ll never forget!IMG_3530.jpeg
