OK finally figured out how these things work. Does anyone know they are going in Nov 2011 the week before Thanksgiving that would be interested in forming a YES group? I know this is preliminary but I am trying to get a feel for who might be interested. The programs sound awesome and the discount alone on the tickets is worth it - we save almost $175 per ticket if I am reading this right. Let me know what you think. . .

I am interested in a YES program the week of November 12 - 19, 2011. I have three children, next year they will be 7, 10 and 11. Thanks!

Someone else might be able to explain it better, but it is basically a program where kids get to take a really cool educational class (2 hours long, I think) and then they get discounted tickets to the parks. I believe groups must be made up of at least 10 kids.

I'm going to be there 11/27-12/3. I have a 15 yo, 2 12 yos, 10 yo, 9 yo, 7 yo. Let me know if this works for you!

We would be very interested. Our dates are not set yet, but it will be the week after or the week before thanksgiving. I have a 10 and 12 yr old.

We are also planning to be there week of/after Thanksgiving - not sure of exact dates yet. I will have 8 and 11 yr. old. Are there programs going on that week? I wasn't sure if they only ran certain times, or whenever they have groups sign up.

Planning to be there from the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving to the day after Thanksgiving. Have children 9 and almost 12 by then.

I was planning on organizing a group for Thanksgiving week and may still try, but in communication with the folks at the Yes program department, they are cracking down on ad hoc groups. They are looking for verifiable groups, like scout or youth groups that can provide verification. I suspect that if you have a organized group you belong to, like a scout troop, you could use that to book the trip and just add Disboard members, but the other thing I was told is that the group needs to be the same age. My kids are members of a youth group, and it has kids from 5th to 12th grade, so I emailed to ask if that is an acceptable age range, but I have not heard back yet. I will watch this thread, and if you are able to get a group approved I might be interessted. My kids are will be 13 and 16.

Scout troops have kids from 11 to 18 too, so that should count IMO.

honubaby.. they aren't allowing groups organized on the boards anymore.
You need to be a legitimate pre-established group..not one put together for the purpose of cheap tickets from what I understand.

Then...if there is a legitimate pre-established group that needs a few more to make 10 for 11/5-11/11 with 5-7 year olds (I know...far stretch)...please keep me in mind! Thanks!
