Inspired by NCLB- Does anyone else need to take the MIDDLE SCHOOL TEST ?

Anyone else have to take the Middle school Science test to prove that he/she is highly qualified? I guess I am lucky, because I hear in some states only a BS in a science degree is acceptable. Does the whole country take the same test? Or do states have different versions?

I work at a middle school, and I haven't heard of that. Although, most of our teachers are either former high school teachers going "down".. which could be why.

I do know that the 6th grade teachers are pulled from elementary settings to teach sixth grade.

As for testing these 6th grade teachers, I don't know.
