In Search of My Body....Not the One I ATE! Vol. 5: Goddesses are Always on Top!

Lyz - for crying outloud would you get back here on a regular basis. Do you not know my needs, as to be entertained by you, are more important than home and garden crap. :lmao:;) God, look at me, I'm becoming you. :lmao: So straight talking.

I know Lisa! I'm ready to get back to my normal schedule of barely rolling out of bed to get the girls on the bus, give a half hearted workout attempt, head to the office and pretend to work whilst eating a Hershey bar and reading a diet thread. Good times.

Kat - execellent advice to Ms. Liz

I have to manage to keep the CAT out and off his bed, I may have to get rid of FAT b@stard! I am kind of torn about that! The cat is like one of my kids.. if one kid was allergic to another would I get rid of that kid?? NO ! So I am really torn! I know my SIL would take him back in a heart beat (he was her to begin with).

On no Steph. to you on all of it.

Diet thread. :lmao::rotfl::lmao: ;) Is that what were doing here? :lmao:

Make it a Mars bar and I'll come and join you. Forget it - you can't get those don't think. Peanut Butter cups - yes! They run the borders with their dual citzenship.

We have Mars bars here. But I'd rather swim in a peanut butter cup any day. Did you see for Easter they have peanut butter filled bunnys called Reesester Bunnies! OMG. My children will be lucky if those babies make it into their baskets next week.

:rotfl:Diet thread, I know!

Hey all,

Checking in quick while Delena is napping. Her fever finally really broke this afternoon. Her temp was 103 last night and 104 this morning. :scared1: she is not eating or drinking much and keeps pointing to her throat. But hopefully, by tomorrow she'll be feeling much better.

We got some sort craptastic but not totally unexpected news that we will have to replace a portion of our AC system. We knew it would be soon, and were just hoping it would hold out another summer. Not exactly what we wanted to spend money on at this point, but you kinda have to have AC in FL. Luckily we won't have to pay it all at one time. And it should work more efficiently, so we should save on the electric bill.

In good news, the unseasonably warm weather has heated up our pool nicely! We'll probably be in there this weekend!

Dawn-Glad to hear that carsyn's surgery went well.

Liz-Have fun in williamsburg. The buschgardens there is where I went on my first real roller coaster.

Kat-OMG on the push ups! I always wimp out on pushups.

I am looking forward to my 5K on saturday. I am hoping it will be a good jumping off point for getting back on track.

 to everyone!

You do. :thumbsup2 I thought you did. I thought I was going crazy on the Mars. But I didn't see any on the way down this time so I thought I was wrong. Weird, eh? (EDIT: Not that I was forever looking. But I would request it in some gas stations from the Jean girl - and nope)

There are a few you don't have there - Smarties? Coffee Crisp? You don't have those, do you?

Swim in a peanut butter cup. But Erika wouldn't come swimming with us. Poor thing. ;) Maybe she can float on a spinach leaf. (Yes, I love spinach too  - I'm an equal opportunity employer)

No on the bunnies - I doubt I get those. Your aisles are like a wonderland. You should see my eyes when I go to the states - that's what we call you. And it kills me. A lot of the time the produce on the entire trip is awful. So weird, eh? We get such good produce here. It's like a hunt to simply get decent field greens in Orlando. So strange.

 on Delena.

And sorry on extra $$$ payments. Always sucks, eh?

Bucsh Gardens memories. Smiling. At 16. Lovely memories.

Oh I'm so avoiding things right now. Better go.

:woohoo: It's getting close! Hope your trip is fabulous.

Oh - and "international killing of in-laws" is strictly prohibited! ;)

Im looking in my 'Killing In-Laws Handbook' and I don't see that rule anywhere! :lmao:

Morning everyone!! My day off was long, stressful and crappy and those are the nice things I have to say. :scared:

Blah, sorry about your crappy day. Hope it picked up for you

Just a quick fly by.

Carsyn had her surgery on Tuesday and she came home late Tuesday night.

Glad everything went well with the surgery

Thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts. We are just so stressed right now. My mom is tired of being in the hospital, my dad is feeling pressure and is upset, and I am just trying to move everything around and get it all done.

So. No exercise today, but tracking and making good choices. And yes, Williamsburg tomorrow. Jodi and I leave at noon. I am leaving my parents in the care of Nick (good luck there, mom and dad! :rotfl: ) and my BFF Jackie. I am asking for help! Look at me go!

I did offer to stay home and my mom was like, um, GO!

Have a fantastic time!

So, Kelly, when you you leave?

12th of April - Easter Sunday. Not long now :scared1:

Man. I need a nap. My head is killing me, since yesterday. I need to breathe! And my phone needs to stop ringing. Oh, and my mom needs to get stabilized! That's all, universe, that's all I want. :lmao:

Again,

I am glad you are going. And word of advice, don't answer your phone unless it is your dad. Just avoid it. If you don't feel like talking, don't! Friends understand.

Thats some excellent advise right there.

But I'd rather swim in a peanut butter cup any day. Did you see for Easter they have peanut butter filled bunnys called Reesester Bunnies! OMG. My children will be lucky if those babies make it into their baskets next week.

:rotfl:Diet thread, I know!

If we had anything like Reesester Bunnies, or any peanut butter filled chocolately goodness I would weight 50 stone, I know it (thats 700lb to you guys!)

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I am not so much into the peanut butter. Now, you add in caramel and nuts, and make it dark chocolate, I am sunk... :faint:

Oh, and I believe that E is all about the chocolate. It is the cheese fries and any fried greasy goodness that she avoids.

Diet thread, indeed!!

I love chocolate with nuts, chocolate with caramel - pretty much any chocolate really! The only chocolate I can think of over here with peanut butter in is KitKat Chunky peanut butter. One of the bigger supermarkets does sometimes stock Reeses chocolate, but the nearest one to me is about half an hour away - not that Ive ever been there just for chocolate you understand! :rotfl:

Mmm, fried greasy goodness. Whats not to love? :confused3

Most excellent advice Kat. Liz - please listen to her on this one....

LisaV - sorry, no pics of Jesse coming anytime soon. Wouldn't even begin to explain that one to him without sounding like some sort of stalker freak type person... gonna have to leave that one to your imagination...

Kat - whoo hoo on the pushups and and extra whoo hoo for the fact that you did fifty of them on your toes. AWESOME!!!!

Liz - have a safe trip this weekend and try to have fun without worrying (easier said than done - I know). Say hi to Jodi for us.

Lyz - hope the show goes well this weekend (how could it not with you planning it)

LisaPR - hope the day got better for you.

Kelly - do I need to ship you reese's cups? I promise, it will only be a few so that you don't end up weighing 50 stones...

Ronda, Sunny, Stacey, Sarah - where are you????? we miss you around here...

Erika - hope you are starting to feel better.

Nancy - how is Wakisha doing today?

Amy - glad D is starting to feel better. Sorry about the AC.

Amiee - I'll catch up with what you are doing later tonight after you check in.

Roddy - we could use some levity around here. Got any good jokes?

Dawn - pics of the renovations??? just sayin...

I have to run to my next meeting.

Have a great rest of the afternoon everyone and I'll catch up with you later.

Lyz and LisaV--thank God for you two, today! You had me laughing out loud which I so so so need.

Just miserable. In pain. Can't get comfortable. Had to get Kel from school for kidney pain and then Riley from school to have his stitches out and I have just had it.

LisaPR--no, I am not going to head to the chiropractor just yet. My appt. with my primary care is tomorrow, and he is a runner, so I am hoping he will have insight. Haven't had the massage yet--will ask the doc that as well.

And I know this might be controversial, but I am kind of anti-chiropractor. We have a D.O. in the family (Doctor of Osteopathy) and if you know the history there, it will make sense to you. DO's consider Chiropractors to be not real doctors. They don't go to medical school, after all, only to chiropractic school. A D.O. can do everything a chiro can do, but has "the real education" behind it all. So, I don't know. But in my family, we don't go. It is sacreligious or something.

More later.

Im looking in my 'Killing In-Laws Handbook' and I don't see that rule anywhere! :lmao:

It's in subsection 4d -- sheesh Kelly!!! Must we read the manual for you? :rotfl:

All this talk of chocolate and greasy goodness! You all need to stop - I'm hoping for a good number this week.

I have my box of Cadbury eggs in the cupboard, waiting for Easter. Sigh....

It's in subsection 4d -- sheesh Kelly!!! Must we read the manual for you? :rotfl:

:rotfl: Exactly! Thanks LisaZ, I didn't want to look it up.

Kat - 100 pushups. You're a rock! (and you suck, cause I'm jelous)

EriKa - antichiro. You are AntiChiro! Ha, just kidding, that sounded like a Seinfield word. AntiDenti. Anyway, I'm antichiro because I think they make you feel so good, you are addicted and have to keep going back. Kinda like chocolate. Or Disney. Or, well, I could go on all day.

Your pain is. I have no words. The dr appt can't come fast enough. At least even if they have to send you to a specialist, you can get some drugs.

Paula - stalking Jessie - :rotfl:. See if you can't find a picture of him on your gym website. You have alot planned for this evening.

Amy - HVAC suckfest, eh? But you have a pool. (insert whiney voice here)

Kelly and Kat - quit with your chocolate talk or someone's prolly gonna find me laying in the corner of my basement, wrappers all around. It won't be pretty.

She'll swim in a peanut butter cup, really? It doesn't have to be a 70% cocoa pool?

Well jump on in Erika.

Eat the bunnies to 50 stone and you can get your own TV show on TLC Kelly.

Hey! Reproduce like a bunny and you can have two shows. All for the love of a bunny.

Reesester Bunnies - I'm so on the lookout now. Does this mean I have to let go of Mr.Munchy?

You kill me Lisa. Nothing, and I mean nothing like that, could ever just set up shop in my cupboards. Well, for five minutes. They wouldn't stand a chance. You must not be a chocolate maniac.

Hey all - sorry still MIA - i've been in term paper/special project hell for the past few weeks, the paper will be finished sometime this weekend so then I should be back amongst the living

E- i was down 1 lb for the week, but i was up 2 the week before, so i think that still leaves me at up 1
