I'm.........

....OMG! Wow, what do you think prompted that spike? Any updates? Prayers your way....

Any word, slo??

yes, slo....check in with us.
Thanks for asking everyone - things have been kinda crazy.

Doctor at ER thinks her birth control pill is the culprit. EKG, chest X-ray and blood work all came back normal. He released her with a BP of 136/92 and cleared her to play.

I’m thinking it’s the pill with anxiety - she has a lot of stress

Her coach wouldn’t allow her to play Saturday because of this, which naturally had Katie upset. I’m ok with the coach sitting her after what happened - I appreciate the coach looking out for her. BP Saturday was better.

Today she is virtually talking with the family doctor, who’s already talking to me like Katie shouldn’t be playing at all, which to me seems premature since her BP isn’t always high - it comes and goes - one day it’s high and the next three months it’s fine, which is why I’m thinking anxiety.

Today Katie is also having a meeting with the trainer and team doctor. I guarantee her BP will be high because she’ll be nervous with what they are going to tell her.

Katie is asking the family doctor for a low dose anti anxiety to see if that will help and her OB told her today to stop the pill.

I made her a cardiologist appointment for June 1st.

So that’s everything in a nutshell with Katie.

In addition to that I have my oldest giving me a hard time which is adding to my stress. I haven‘t seen her in 15 months, but yet she still manages to know exactly how to get me upset.

Good times 😣

I’m very happy that today is my mom’s birthday - we’re going to celebrate with her tonight. Another birthday is never promised for any of us, so I enjoy celebrating with everyone when it’s their birthday.

Enjoy birthday celebrations!:cake:

I’m getting better. So far, DH and the friends who were with us at WDW show no Covid symptoms.
I liked your post, but only for the ”getting better” part of it.
I’ll do a 😢 for you getting sick - I’m sorry to hear that.

Hi! Feeling better, not much coughing, and my DSis and I went for an hour bike ride this morning.

Hope to do more gardening tomorrow.

In WDW, we were with our friends a lot. We ate dessert together in our villa one evening. Only I came down with Covid, I am happy that no one else did.

Glad you are feeling better.
DH caught it at the end of our cruise......much lighter than the last bought. I caught it from him....just cold symptoms.
Seems to be something that is going to happen now and then.
Was looking forward to getting this just approve booster, but have to wait 3 months now.

Glad to hear this Bobbi 🙂

I’m happy to say that my DH has lost 30lbs, his A1C is in normal range and if this continues, in 3 months the doctor may take him off the Osempric (sp?). His first goal is to be under 300lbs - he has 15 more pounds to go to meet it - I’m sure he’ll do that. I’m really proud of him.

Well, it’s been a good week here. I got relief from my headache, and will see the chiropractor again next week. Tom and I got gardening done ahead of today’s rain, and DSis and I went for a good bike ride early this morning.

Now, it’s a matter of working on house things before leaving a week from today for WDW and out Transatlantic cruise on DCL.

We're driving home today. Had a great time. We don't come back until December😕
Long drive. Coming it took us an hour longer than usual....so much road construction and traffic.
