I'm almost ready to leave!! Just some electronics and meds to pack tomorrow and turn off a bunch of things.
We leave for the airport about 11 am.

DIL is supposed to leave Tuesday to go to her parents again. Waiting to hear an update from her sister. She may need to leave tomorrow. Her father is in rapid decline right now.

I’m super excited - Katie hit her 50th HR yesterday (her 2nd college HR). This is a big accomplishment - many girls never hit one. The only thing that would have made it better was if we could have seen it, but she was playing 4 hours away. We saw it on livestream.

Now that we're here it will be good. Trip was too long.
I changed all our excursions to the "gentle" ones.....just in case.

DIL's father passed away Sunday evening. She flew out Monday and will be gone 2-3 weeks, depending on some things.
Wish I was home to help DS, but DD is a great help. He gets a few days off.

We're going to be cruising a canal in Amsterdam this morning

We just arrived in Santa Barbara a little over an hour ago. Friends wedding is Saturday. We have a few days for local sightseeing.

...we did a split stay....GF and the Riviera.

It's nice. We're on our second stop today.
Supposed to rain. Very cold wind yesterday.
We really like these small ships......but the rooms are really small.

How are the common areas? Do you have a balcony? We have never been on a River cruise.

Nice......there's a top deck with chairs....but too cold for that now.
On our last cruise we spent a lit if time up there.
There's the area with the bar that has chairs, couches and tables.
There's a library.
We gave a French balcony.
There are 180 people on this cruise (2 to a room).So 5 empty rooms.
55 crew. You get to know a lot if people.

I’m happy to say we rode our bikes today for a little bit! Finally, first time this year!

Son and granddaughter arrived. They are upstairs, we didn’t hear them com in during the night. Even Gus slept through their arrival!
