I'm bringing my diploma straight to the The Mouse! A June PTR-6/18 TR Link!!

Lauren..... you seem to be missing an ADR!!!!!!!!!!!

I know!! :sad2: DF did not love the Kona menu...but never fear, Kona is on the honeymoon list! And the list if we go in October :thumbsup2 Don't you worry, I will be showing Kona some love sometime in the next year lol. After all, our wonderful inside joke cannot go to waste!

Oh, some great ADR choices! I'm happy dancing for you!

Makes a mental note to myself to schedule off for the day I can make ADRs...haha.

Your ADRs look so yummy! popcorn::

I know I am so excited to eat all of that good food!

Thanks!! I could always use a good happy dance :goodvibes

Seriously, I wish I had taken the day off! I felt so bad leaving my poor mom on the phone while I left, but I had picked up some extra hours at my old job and it was too late to call out.

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a great week. :flower3:

I got exciting mail from Disney this week...our planning DVD came! DF and DM and I watched it on Monday night, it was very cute! Some of the parts are cheesy, there are all these people talking about their dreams and doing weird dances on clouds and stuff before each segment, but the stuff that's actually about Disney was really cool. It was a nice fix and there was a lot on it, so that was fun! :goodvibes

So another thing that DF and I have talked about in depth are how we are going to use our snack credits! Yep, we love food and we even have that mapped out. Some of the stuff we want, you can't use credits for on the DDP, but we'll just pay OOP for those which is fine with us because we LOVE to eat. So, here it is, what we will be snacking on between all of those great ADRS: popcorn::

Magic Kingdom:
-Cream Cheese Pretzel: we love these and we missed them on our last trip
-Dole Whip/Float: we tried these for the first time in January and LOVED them, we are doing the float this time because the pineapple flavor is so yum!
-Cinnamon Roll and French Toast Loaf from Main St. Bakery-the cinnamon rolls are a must every trip, and the french toast loaf looks amazing so I want to try that too!
-Raspberry lemonade slush from Enchanted Grove-so refreshing, they are the best ones in WDW
-Ice Cream cookie sandwich from Sleepy Hollow-these are HUGE and so good!

Epcot:
-Funnel Cake-for DF, I am not a big fan
-Chocolate Eclair from the bakery in France, although I could eat everything in their
-Churros from Mexico-we're gonna camp out with these while we wait at Cantina de San Angel before Illuminations
(I will also definitely be getting a fiesta margarita and a gran manier slush over in France during our Epcot days too!)
-Club Cool-this one is free, we'll be stopping by for some yummy watermelon soda, but NOT Beverly :rotfl:

DHS:
-Starring Rolls chocolate croissant-this is another first, they look so good in peoples pics so we'll do breakfast here one day
-Cookies (or other treats) from the Villain's candy store

AK:
-This is usually where I get a cookies and cream mickey ice cream sandwich because they don't really have the most unique snacks. Unless somebody has better snack recommendations for this park?

I also read on All Ears this week that Hurricane Hanna's is now serving the Beaches n' Cream burger, so we might stop their for a CS meal on either of our Epcot/DHS days because I have heard they are SO good, and we probably won't have time to do BC as a TS.

So there you have it! Please feel free to comment with other stuff we should try or food pics of your favorite snacks...or from any of our ADR places! I plan on taking lots of food pics this next trip because I never have before but I think they are great. DF is just gonna LOVE that

Happy planning everyone!

Ooooh..those snack ideas sound good right about now! The one I was going to say-you already have it down (cinnamon rolls at the MK Bakery)! :thumbsup2

One thing we love to do is get margaritas at this margarita bar stand at DTD and then sit by the lake.

Mmmm... all your snacks sound good! We hardly ever eat snacks in the parks so I don't have any suggestions for you. I just had my first Dole Whip and Mickey bar on our last trip! I will be taking some of your suggestions for our next trip!

Club Cool is at Epcot, though, isn't it? (At least it was in June, did they change it?)

ETA: Get the make your own treats from Goofy's! They're so good!

Omigosh; I'm drooling over the cream cheese pretzel and chocolate eclairs! Great choices!!!

If you want to venture over to POFQ, they have my FAVORITE treat - beignets. They are fried, powdered sugar goodness! I had so many of them when we stayed there on our honeymoon!

I also love the roasted nuts at Magic Kingdom - the cinnamon and sugar almonds/pecans. SO good!

I know it's not really a snack, but if you're a tea fan, you have to go to the stand across from the trail that leads down to the rapids at AK. I had a tea slushie - mango - that was wonderful!

Thanks for posting the snack ideas. Getting hungry just thinking about all that Disney food :goodvibes.

You have pretty good ADR there.

I wish I can suggest some good snack. Unfortunately, I am not much of a snack person. This is the only snack I know. :rolleyes1 pirate:

Churros in Mexico while waiting for Illuminations - awesome idea! Once a month I usually plan a meal around a different country and we did Mexico a while back. I thought about making churros, but made something else instead. The boys would love to try them. I'll have to remember that. :thumbsup2

OMG I could so go for one of those cinnamon rolls right now. When we are at DTD I'll have to try the margaritas, we passed that stand last trip and I was very intrigued.

Hmmm.. those all sound good. How about pretzels from Goofy's?

I'm so glad you said that, I forgot to add it in! I meant to make a DTD section. I love the rice crispy treats and cookies from Goofy's too!

Oh jeez, you are right it is in Epcot. I added that one in last minute right before I posted and must have put it under the wrong heading, going to fix it now thanks for pointing that out! I even gave someone directions to that earlier in this PTR and I still listed it at the wrong park  I'm such a scatterbrain.

You're welcome! It's making me hungry too!popcorn::

Haha you guys had so many great ADRs last trip, you must not have had much room to snack! Mmm thanks for the pic of the mickey bar!

That is such a cute idea! The boys must love it. The churros at MK have chocolate dipping sauce that you can get to go with them and they are amazinggg.

After reading everyone's responses, I realized that I completely forgot to include DTD in my post! We will be going there on June 13, before our flight home that Saturday and we will definitely be snacking!

Here is what I want to get at DTD:

-Treats from Goofy's-I got a peanut butter cookie dipped in chocolate and reese's pb cups last year and it was SO good! This year I think I want to get a rice crispy treat and some pretzels. These we will be bringing home to save for later (thanks for reminding me to add this, Sare and Irky!)

-Ghiradelli Cookie Bottom Sundae-DF and I split one last trip and it was amazing. But we were so full from too much Canyon Skillet at WCC that we didn't fully appreciate it, so it's time for a redo!

-Margarita-My favorite drink, thanks for the tip Tinkgurl! We might stop at DTD one night earlier in the trip, too, after doing a park for a day, so maybe I'll get one then.

Keep the suggestions coming!! We plan on using every single snack credit and we want to "spend" them wisely. Thanks for reading everyone and have a great weekend! :cutie:

I'm enjoying reading everyone's snack ideas too. Originially I was going to try and use our snack credits for breakfast items, but decided to just bring along some breakfast foods for our room. I want to be able to enjoy snacks each day! :)

It is so funny you say that because we are doing the same thing! We also said we were gonna use them for breakfast when we started out planning, but after this past trip when we discovered SO MANY great snacks, we decided to bring breakfast food down with us to have in the room and use the credits for actual snacks. Now I just have to figure out what foods will travel well...any ideas??

Well, we're driving so it's a bit easier for us. But, today I bought a couple boxes of cereal and a box of instant oatmeal packets. I'm bringing along our electric tea kettle to heat water for the oatmeal and tea. I'll also bring some fruit and possibly our toaster and some bagels. Once we're at Disney, we'll pick up some milk for the rooms. I figure at the end of a day at the parks, we'll stop and pick up a baked good or two to have the next morning. Granola bars and cereal bars would pack well, but I don't find those very filling. I need protein. Granola (like the cereal kind) is pretty filling. You could bring oatmeal and use the room's coffee pot to heat hot water. Even a peanut butter sandwich would fill me up.

Oh I completely forgot you guys are driving! Granola bars and cereal bars are a good idea, we aren't huge breakfast eaters so they might hold use over. Bagels and peanut butter would travel ok too, I think, I'll just cushion everything with clothes so it doesn't get banged around too much! Getting stuff the night before to have in the room is a great idea too. Thanks for the advice!!
