Free Kohl's Money

Just an FYI if you shop at Kohl's, I just got an email today that they are doing a promotion where they give you a card when you walk in the store starting today through Sunday. It's basically free money you can use that day in the store and the amounts vary. Last year I happened to be over by my nearest Kohl's during the same promotion so I popped in to check it out. I think I got $5 and just used the cash to "buy" some reusable bags I actually needed at the time. I'm going to see if my local Kohl's is participating this year. I look at it as a free gift card that has to be used that day and if I don't find anything then I don't have to spend any other money.

Here are some of the relevant details:

• Coupons will be distributed daily while supplies last, but we’ll restock them each day. So if all coupons on Wednesday are already handed out when you arrive, you still have a chance to get one if you return Thursday through Sunday
• Coupons will have a value of $5, $10, $15, $25 or $100. Open the Kohl’s Cash coupon when you receive it to see what you got
• The Kohl’s Cash coupon is instantly redeemable and can only be used in store the same day you receive it
• One giveaway coupon will be distributed per household per day and only one giveaway coupon can be used in a transaction

This isn't a post to discuss whether Kohl's is overpriced or Kohl's cash is useless or whatever reason you hate Kohl's. If you happen to shop there or are just close by a store it's worth it to check it out. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky few who wins $100! Hope this helps someone out.
