Oh I completely forgot you guys are driving! Granola bars and cereal bars are a good idea, we aren't huge breakfast eaters so they might hold use over. Bagels and peanut butter would travel ok too, I think, I'll just cushion everything with clothes so it doesn't get banged around too much! Getting stuff the night before to have in the room is a great idea too. Thanks for the advice!!

I forgot to mention that I plan to use a snack credit or two for the baked goods the night before. We'll have 5 snack credits a day and I'm sure we won't always need that many for snacks (seeing as our meals come with dessert too!).

Hi again everyone! Wow, I think this is the most I have updated in awhile. I just have lots to share this weekend I guess

So our customizable maps showed up in the mail yesterday. I was so excited, and at first glance they looked very cute, but then I opened them up to take a closer look...and they printed another family's last name on them!! I don't know if any of you have seen the maps before (I know you have Irky so you know what I mean), but they are personalized with your name on each page. The map of the entire WDW resort has our name on it, but the individual park maps have some random name on them, they mailed us part of someone else's set?? Ugh I love Disney but they are giving us a little trouble this week

Not a huge deal, they are free, but I thought they'd be a cute keepsake of me and DF's first trip just the two of us. Should I reorder them? I don't know if you are allowed to do that. Maybe I'll reorder them in his last name since as of next year it will be my last name too!


In other news, today DF and I are going up to MA to go to a friend's wedding so that should be fun. Then tomorrow I am going to Providence to go shopping with my college friends. Providence Place Mall is massive, we can literally spend the entire day in there. I am SO excited, I am hoping to pick up a couple things for our trip. My main goal is to find a sundress for the night we eat at Jiko, nothing too fancy. Old Navy has some cute ones, so we'll see!

I think you can only order so many maps per address per year. That's weird that they sent you the wrong ones! I would either use another address or call them and I'm sure they'd send you new ones.

Good to know, if I call and they tell me I can't get them fixed and resent then I will order then in DF's name from his address. A perk of us not living together yet!

Wedding plans are coming along, the wedding party is all set, we've asked everyone and they said yes. I'm having my sister as MoH, my two college roomates and my best friend since first grade as my BMs so I'm very excited! They are all psyched for their clover green dresses which we all agree is a perfect color

We decided we are having a garden themed wedding, so we're working on details for that too! The centerpieces are antiqued silver watering cans filled with hydrangea. I wanted something unique and they are really pretty. I'll have to post pictures of everything soon! Thanks for asking Kristen, and for listening to my rambling post

Thanks Kristen! I saw the watering cans at Michael's when I was shopping with my mom one day and got inspired! Instead of numbering our tables we're naming each one after a different flower to keep with the theme.

Kyle and I also found a bakery for our wedding cake! Well actually it's going to be a tower of cupcakes! I don't know if I mentioned that in my earlier TR...they make the best cupcakes, we wanted something unique and cupcakes are my favorite so we're doing all different flavors. I took pictures of some of the samples they had, I'll post them here this weekend! It's a bakery up in Easthampton, MA. We will be setting up the official tasting soon

I am going to be wearing an ivory dress to compliment the clover, we compared the colors and they work so well together. I'm having a mocha color and a butter color as accents. I'm letting my girls pick the style of their dress so they can choose what works for their body type. This is what the clover looks like. I'd post my dress on here too but DF reads this so that is a no no!

More details to come soon I'm sure! And thanks for the tip on the Old Navy dresses! I looked on the website and they are so cute and affordable! Too bad you didn't get to spend too much time there, it must be so hard to shop with the kids in tow! I used to be a nanny for three little guys so I can relate!!

I just got a chance to check out the wedding stuff you posted, love the clover green dresses, and you're SO nice to let the girls pick their style according to their bodies! Some brides just pick one and let the girls suffer, I did what you did and everyone was so appreciative, especially my pregnant BM!! What a cute idea on doing flower tables instead of table #'s, very nice theming and I just love the watering cans, you know you're going to need to post pics!!! Hint, hint! And I love the tower of cupcake idea for your cake!!! Very original and cute!! Did you get your tasting set up? YUM!! So, did you already find your dress? You work quick girl!!! Yay you are back Caitlin!! I'm a little nervous about Jiko because I'm slightly picky, but I'm going for the filet and mac n cheese. If they didn't have that, I wouldn't book it because it sounds like the perfect meal for me Plus, it has a dress code, so I'm gonna get a cute new sundress I think and dress up. That makes me look forward to it too, it'll be nice to get "dressed up" one of the nights!

We got deluxe dining plan for the trip so we're doing a signature restaurant six of the 7 nights we're there.... But Jiko is one i'm most nervous AND excited for! I'll let you know how it goes!

I'm supposed to be at work now, I am on call, just praying they don't call me in. DF takes good care of me and I can be really evil when I'm working too much. But my wedding dress is finally paid off, my credit cards are all the way paid down, and all I owe on is student loans and just a LITLE bit of DVC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So my overworking is worthwhile... I just keep telling myself 10 days until I get to nurse mommies/babies and 54 days until 2 beautiful weeks in Florida!

-Margarita-My favorite drink, thanks for the tip Tinkgurl! We might stop at DTD one night earlier in the trip, too, after doing a park for a day, so maybe I'll get one then.

See I hate the margaritas at the stand in DTD, give me the margs at Epcot (mexico stand) any day. And i love me some margaritas, I get them freaking everywhere.

It is so funny you say that because we are doing the same thing! We also said we were gonna use them for breakfast when we started out planning, but after this past trip when we discovered SO MANY great snacks, we decided to bring breakfast food down with us to have in the room and use the credits for actual snacks. Now I just have to figure out what foods will travel well...any ideas??

Obsessed with Quaker breakfast cookies... oatmeal raisin. They're not too high in calories, super filling and even have some fiber and calcium. Yum.

Love your wedding stuff, it's coming along nicely--- did i mention i'm having ALL hydrangeas, twin? unfortunately you forgot to pick NAVY dresses to be JUST like me. however the green is still pretty!

Hello Everyone! Sorry I have been MIA for awhile, life has gotten way crazy and I have sadly had no time for the boards! Only 5 more weeks of school left so I have been super busy wrapping up with projects, papers, etc. Last week was parent teacher conferences at school, and I'm a graduate assistant at UConn and the grant I am working on has gone full speed ahead with our research phase so it has been NUTS!

Just a quick update on trips things...we are all paid off as of Saturday! My mom is paying half as my grad gift and she gave me the money and DF gave me the last of his from this tax return a couple weeks back, so we are good to go! Now we just have to figure out how much spending money we want to bring for souvies, drinks, etc. (I have to set a budget before we go down or I go nuts shopping!!)

I also got a few new pairs of shorts and some flip flops for the trip. Those of you who read my TR for my January trip know that I had blisters all week from my awful sneakers, so I am not even bothering with them this time. And since it will be June I'm forgetting packing jeans and going with all shorts, which I do not love wearing but know will keep me much cooler.

Ok that's all for now, I'm hoping to put together a detailed itinerary of everything we are doing so that should be up this weekend. Hope everyone has a great week!
