If we're using dining plan credits for CRT, do we still pay at 180 days?

If you are signed into MDE, your resort reservation should recognize your dining plan and just use your CC for guarantee instead of the full charge. Do pay attention to the screen though to be sure it doesn't charge you by mistake.

One way or the other, through the dining plan or OOP, you're required to pay when you make the reservation at CRT.

You don't "pay" with the dining plan when you make the reservation. They simply forgo the pre-paid requirement on the basis that you've already paid for the plan and will likely use credits. However, you could very well use all of your dining credits before you arrive at CRT. The system does not in any way encumber your credits when you make the reservation.
