Oh you speak the truth there Jo....when we went to Gairloch at the summer it took over seven hours and it was hellish. To be fair though it should only have taken five hours but the mother ship was calling Donny home and he took the turn off to go to Skye by mistake (bit of a brain fart moment that added two hours to our journey )

7 hours is nothing!! I make a 12 hr trip at least twice a year.

I have so much to do. I haven't finished packing yet! At least I have started, I usually don't start until maybe 2 days before we leave, then scramble around at the last minute. And I need to clean my house before we leave too!

Sounds positive Jen, obviously as you said you don't know for sure until the monitor is off but it's an enormous plus to have a doc who you feel confident in . Finger crossed and prayers being said for good outcome

Jen, like Kirsteen said, it sounds positive. Anytime I don't hear sheer panic in a doctor's voice, I consider it a blessing. I know Jon will be fine and his momma will make sure of that!

Thanks for the ...I'm just feeling a wee bit fed up....I'm sure I'll cheer up in two or three weeks once we get the accommodation booked for next year

I've got a few job applications in the pipeline but they're all full time and I'm not that happy about having to work full time...I'll just have to bite the bullet though because no ones going to pay me to stay at home and sit of facebook all day
