I am so excited! I got a pedicure today albeit not a good one. She didn't take that good garlic slicer thing and slice the dead skin off my heals. That my favorite part. And because of my scar, she couldn;t massage that calve. heck, now that I think about it, she should have charged me 1/2.

I love that part too! It is kinda gross, the stuff that comes off! My sister was totaly disgusted by herself when she saw it!

Nooooooooooo. There is a pumpkin patch? My friend started me a farm.

That covers 6 months of meds. And it just went up as they increased her dose. I found the most amazing case worker at BCBS who has been paramount in finally getting this paid and hopefully make the process a little smoother (keeping my fingers crossed).

I can't really say how much her med is per month but my guess is about $6-7K.



Okay, writing it out just reminded me of the enormity of the situation and if McSame gets in, all that coverage will be over.

We are SO in the same boat!


It is crazy but what can we do? Our babies need their meds. I cannot imagine their meds being free. Heck, I can imagine Chloe free from meds.

Yep for kids in education and the over 60's for adults each precription costs $14 but you can buy a yearly one for about $240

And Jon's meds run about $70,000 per year.

Hi!!

It was c-c-c-cold here this morning!! I looked at the temp at 7:00am and it was 28 degrees. Brr!! But it did turn out sunny and 60 so I can't complain too much.

The weekend started out busy- Friday morning was my cousin's funeral and Friday night was our PTO Halloween Party/Game Night/Costume Exchange at the school.

Saturday I took Emma to dance class while Nate took Chris to soccer. Emma and I did some shopping...I got her 4 shirts, 1 skirt, and 1 pr. of shorts at Old Navy for $11.95. All on clearance for next year. Then we hit Target & the grocery store. Saturday evening I started "New Moon" and finished at 12:45 am.

Sunday was very low-key. We chilled out most of the day. I like those kind of days!


Guess what came in the mail today?! Our OKW ressie!!!! Yay!!!! I didn't dream it after all!
