. . . or so I thought. *S* then my family and I visited HH and stayed in a 2 bedroom unit ($99/nt with 4th night free). Bought 200 points on the spot. Now we are members at VWL.
We had stayed at BWV before in a studio (on my parents' points) and liked it but were not overwhelmed. In contrast, the 2 bedroom blew us away. It was as big as our first townhouse.
Price was $75 pp with $10 pp magical beginnings. Magical beginnings was $13 pp for HH and VB. We were also able to get a 15% discount because we are related to a cast member, so it worked out better than a resale. Also got a June use year so we will get more points this summer when we need them.
Our guide told us HH will be sold out soon and that she is moving to Florida to sell BCV. It seems sales will start within a few months.
We bought at VWL rather than HH, which we loved, because we plan on going to WDW every year but are not sure how often we will go to HH. That being said, we loved HH. The grounds were beautiful and the kid's programs were great.
FYI, the slide at the pool was open upon request between 10am and 4 pm. It snowed while we were there and one night they held the campfire inside (without the fire). The castmembers showed great ingenuity by making the S'mores in the microwave.
