Yes an earlier post but this figure is just plucked out of the air. I am not sure that a friend of a neighbor type of source is very accurate.

Regardless of the amount, any amount of money given to the family is absolutely ridiculous. There in no way shape or form should any 'reward' be given to anybody for such behavior. Sadly, I have had the whole lawsuit thing happen to me over an accident that wasn't my fault. The two people involved got a million dollar settlement and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about how unfair the ruling was.

Anyway, they don't deserve any money at all. Period.

Just a thought, is Sr. so determined to get an apology so that he will have a stronger case in court. With an "admission of guilt" in a sense. Im not sure, but that seems like the case. I believe that the hate mail is not necessary, but he brought it upon himself. I am a practicing martial artist and even though that was what seemed to be an arm lock, in reality it was just someone trying to stop what ever was happening behind him. If you notice when Tigger swung around he actually pushes Jr.'s shoulder back as in let go of me. Then he shakes his hand as in oops I didn't mean to do that, sorry there guy. This is just crazy. Just a thought.

It's interesting to hear what he has to say without cameras in his face and to hear that after all of this he still thinks his son is a victim.

I know many of us believed that he would get picked on at school. BUT there were some who were saying they HOPED he would be beat up and or picked on....and not just people on this board. Thats just not right

I still support Tigger, I think he was acting in self defense. Whether ot not Jr was doing somehting on purpose I don't know. But he did something and Tigger reacted.

That's an amazing phone call that you had there.

What's even more amazing is that a supposedly mature individual can't seem to understand that it's his own actions that have led to the current situation he is in.

Though it does give us insight into why his son thought it was okay to do what he did. It's all about personal responsibility.

Kudos to the OP for sending the letter with your identification to Mr. Monaco and talking to him with an open mind. Hate mail is definitely NOT okay.

While I've been reading this thread one thing has bothered me. In your original email you've mentioned you've not seen the video, Mr. Monaco's interviews, or other coverage of the incident. It does seems a little strange that you're commenting on the reaction of people who actually taken the time to follow the incident and HAVE seen the video and Mr. Monaco's media appearances. Perhaps prior to your next post you could take the time and effort to read the previous threads (with links to video, police reports, etc...) before judging peoples responses.
