Exactly one week later, the count still grows and 150 still missing. Mexico and 19 states have sent First Responders and over 12,300 volunteers have helped with cleanup and supplying food and comfort to those involved. FROM FACEBOOK...missing items that have been found; they're being cleaned with hopes someone will claim them.

I interned at ONP out of college back in 1981 for three months. I have lots of fond memories from that time. In 2018, the Hurricane Ridge visitor center was there. It got destroyed in a fire two years ago.

After 10 long days Bellville's Virginia is coming home. She was found Sunday and after DNA identification will be home tomorrow. The entire community thanks the First Responders and we're grateful her family has closure.

Before the clock here in the Central Time Zone passes midnight we wish our amazing eldest DGD a happy 23rd birthday!

It was beautiful and I don't think there was a dry eye in all of Bellville. EVERY town/city, large and small, between San Antonio and Bellville honored her with First Responders on overpass's and/or lining the streets...and SO many people. When the procession arrived in Bellville it had grown to 40 vehicles. Such love shown for this sweet little girl and her family. I'll PM you later...
