Beach Club excitement 🤩

Our 7 month window opened today and I was able to swap one night of our trip for Beach Club! We have only been DVC members for a year, but this is one of the few resorts I have been most eager to try, but was resigned that it would be nigh on impossible to get.

Had to share my excitement! I wasn't even on at 8am to grab it! Our trip is in Feb but I am set on trying out SAB even if I freeze to death in the process

Now that you have an anchor night, maybe try waitlisting a night next to it.

This date had been showing open for several days that I checked earlier this week, but I thought for sure it would be swooped at the opening bell today! Delightful surprise when I checked at lunch and it was still there

We have 4 linked nights at RIV following and I don't want to futz too much with those for this race trip, but that is a good tip for another vacation I really need to remember to separate my nights at the beginning bc it gives me dreadful palpitations making modifications to try to drop + regrab the nights as individual reservations later on

Ooh how exciting to sail the Destiny! We are waiting for longer itineraries before we book that one but have one for the Treasure next year

FArts is my favorite Epcot fest, what a wonderful vacation combo!

We loved our stay at BCV, the proximity to Epcot was such a fantastic perk. Don’t sleep on breakfast at Ale & Compass, I still dream about the shrimp and grits there.

Me too! I understand your excitement. One thing I've always liked is that I can get to Beaches and Cream in the rain without getting wet...And now that I have a park hopper, I can go to Les Halles in France for dinner, but then go to another park...And I can take a Skyway ride to Primo Piatto and have a QS meal there for a change...and if I'm full and want to stay in, there are so many fun activities, or just the Solarium or Drawing Room to relax and read in. So many reasons to love the BC.

Yes, they do a great breakfast! We even took my parents there once a few years ago.

BCV has been our home for 22 years now, and we still look forward to our SAB vacations! We no longer go for the parks, just pool time and absolutely love it. Enjoy your time there!

I just realized another reason to love the Beach Club. If you're at a theme park and want to visit another resort for a meal after you're done at the park, you just go to the bus stop of the resort you want to go to. But then after you eat, you have the dilemma of how to get back to your resort. If you're not staying at the Beach Club, you have to take a bus to point A, then switch to the bus to your resort. Or pay for an Uber or Minnie Van to take you. However, for the Beach Club, just take the bus from the resort you're at to DHS, then walk along the canal to the Boardwalk area and the Beach Club.
