I just went to the 3 credit bureaus’ website and they had a submit a dispute process. This is the Equifax one: https://www.equifax.com/personal/disputes/. It was super easy.
@schmass Plastiq is a good option, at the very least for meeting a minimum spend, and if you use a referral code you'll get $500 Fee Free Dollars to use toward your first payment. So you'll be paying a 2.5% fee for using the service, but the first $500 you pay to your loan won't incur the service charge.I'm not sure about the DVC loan either. That would be great if it would code 3x. If not, once your dh gets the CIP, you could consider using plastiq to pay the loan and that would maybe code 3x. If you join the reddit DIS churners group we have, @Lain has a great write up on using plastiq.
Okay, so if I wait a month or two, I'll apply for the SW business and then immediately go for the premier?
The key is to apply for one, and if you receive an automatic approval, immediately apply for the second one using a different browser. If you don't get an automatic approval on the first, call Chase to find out why--you may have to shift some credit around, or they may need to verify your address--and once you're approved over the phone, go for the second one. You should try to do this on a weekday morning to ensure someone will be there to help if you don't get instantly approved.Okay, so if I wait a month or two, I'll apply for the SW business and then immediately go for the premier?
When it comes to personal cards, I definitely prefer keeping all available credit lines as a bargaining chip and reallocating credit during reconsideration if you’re facing denial.
With business cards, I think there’s a hesitancy to call recon and possibly have to talk about your “business,” which is when you’d offer to reallocate credit. Additionally, you can’t move credit from your personal lines to business lines.
My husband and I both have csr and my AF is going to hit soon. I love this card and want to keep using it, but I'm wondering if it would make sense to add me as an AU on his card and downgrade mine to a Freedom. (Which one do people suggest?)

No, no, no AU. It costs extra money ($75 I think) and takes up a space in your chase count.
Go into his acct online and order a replacement card and choose the option that the current card is damaged (not lost!). They will send a new card and his current card will still work. New card goes in your wallet. I am currently doing this on DHs account and it works great.
ETA: yes downgrade yours to CF or CFU

Here is a big thread on the Reddit Churning page (not our DisChurners page) with a lot of details about obtaining the SW Companion Pass.
The one reason i prefer the regular over business is for the 10% miles back for the year. I do plan yo redeem miles for my October trip to take advantage of this. I cannot benefit from the companion ticket since i do not come close to 30k in spending for a year. I probably do the Barclay it is only 50K they drop the 60K. The $95 will still beats $150 in checked bags round trip plus the extra 5K in miles at the end of the year. What's wrong with the Citi AA Biz card? My ebay "business" got one instantly with an obscene credit limit. Sole proprietor, business name is my name. Literally you have nothing but a hard pull to lose by trying for it. Try to get it now and bank those 60K points! Barclay personal one is easy pickings too, although you have to pay the AF. Still $95 for 60K AA miles? Yes please!! I'd Barclay first since they're pickier than Citi in general.
Is there any downside to lowering the amount of credit you have on cards? It doesn't reflect poorly on your credit report or anything right? I have three chase cards now (CSP, CF, Marriott Biz) and plan to get a CIP later this year. I would never charge anything close to the amount of credit given to me on each charge so I'm wondering if I should lower them some before applying for CIP.
I need to vent: I help my parents with their CC bonuses. Super responsible, mom is into this, dad is scared of losing his perfect credit score but after free flights to hawaii came on board. I helped them set with a BRM for their legit business's CIPs and offered the next card as the CIC. My father applies with his BRM for the extra points and everytime I asked him about it "I haven't heard anything, I'm sure I'll get something soon." end of convo. Finally a couple weeks after the app he calls the BRM- who is out for 2 weeks. He won't do anything else even after I explain he should have received a letter and needs to talk to Chase to find out what is happening because something is wrong. He won't. Whatever, throw my hands up and go about my holidays. Finally gets hold of BRM a month after the app and has to shift credit from from CIP for approval. Gets approved. Finally! lol- no. 2 weeks later no letters, no cards, one email saying congrats you were approved. I tell him he has to call, something is wrong. Says, it'll come I need to be patient. One week later calls Chase. Chase says yes, he was approved 3 weeks ago, they sent the card to [insert very old address here] and it was sent back to Chase. Chase agrees to expedite new CIC, should have it by Tues.
May this be a reminder of the pitfalls of family and friends you help with this journey. Even once they seem to be on board they can change from enthused to dumb and lazy and screw themselves over- and blame you for the hassle. His lazy rear finally did what needed to be done, but he almost lost his new card and gained a hard pull. I can't imagine Chase would have kept that account open in perpetuity and he now has almost a month less to meet his spend (lucky Chase uses 115 days from approval instead of 90 days / 3 months exact like other issuers- although he doesn't deserve those extra days). (I try to help because they travel on these points and my mom loves to travel while dad can stay at home forever but is happy once he gets out to travel. The points get them traveling and that keeps them a bit happier.)

Maybe, but since you already have a biz card you could offer to shift credit over from that card. I would avoid dropping CLs with Chase because once you drop it you're stuck, Chase won't give it back to you. Also, like @deide71 says you need to pay attention to your credit utilization ratio. As close as you can get that puppy to 0% the better you are. Check Credit Karma to see where you're at. As someone just starting out this part killed me at the beginning because meeting a minimum spend on a card drove my utilization to like 30-40% and my credit score would drop like 40 points and take a few months to recover. If you have lots of available credit you can drop CLs and not be affected, if you don't you'll want to tread lighter when considering dropping CLs.Is there any downside to lowering the amount of credit you have on cards?
