Let the MSR begin, CIP out for delivery and my CitiBiz 2 that I was approved for last Tuesday just showed up!!

Also in the mail was a letter from Barclays that they are processing my dispute against Sams, yikes!!! I got a fax fail response, so I had no idea they got it. I just called and told them to close the dispute.

I could have written this post! We are considering doing the southern UT parks next spring break for the same reason. We were in northern AZ last June and it was hot. Very little humidity but hot enough that I don't think the NP's would be fun. My DH and I are excited about this trip but I get the same reaction from my kids "all we're going to do it hike and look at nature?" Umm, yeah but you do always get to go rafting, horseback riding or jeep tour in addition. I try to take their wishes into consideration but sometimes I want to pull the "if I'm paying your doing what I want to do" card. If it was easier to get someone to stay with them, I'd leave them at home, I'd love a trip with just DH and me.

Didn’t know whether to like, laugh, love, or sad your post! It fits them all! I told my kids if we do a cruise in October and maybe Universal in Feb when March and National Parks comes there is no complaining!!

It’s supposed to connect to that path that’s kind of already there but has a dead end. It does go under the monorail

The path that's already there is the path made with the bricks that guests paid about $100 each for with inscriptions on them that was supposed to go all around the monorail resorts. The other side has an access road to the waterway.

I think you bought your generator at HD? Most of those generators probably won’t run your house’s AC. The best they will do is portable AC plus fridge plus a few lights. As someone mentioned, a whole house generator will keep you going as if nothing happened but you need a large tank of fuel, probably buried and the permitting requirements for those are stringent. I know you are taking it serious (as everyone should!) and I don’t want you to have surprises in the middle of a storm. Also, make sure you buy enough fuel cans that you can fill before a storm.

Some people here fuel their whole house generators with the same propane or natural gas they regularly use if available. We are on natural gas, and my quote for the system was only about 10K, a few years ago. Big but - other costs - digging up my driveway and the days or hours without electric just didn't seem worth it. So I've got a little standby and a window unit plus some space heaters for winter.

OMG!! DH Finally got approved for the Citi Biz AA Card. This was the 3rd attempt with the other 2 denied for stupid reasons. Couldn't get the 70,000 offer to open so got him the 65,000 offer. Will do 2 months of rent and that will be taken care of.

Going to try and get DS20 the CIP. Going for that later in the week. Need more cards for tuition anyway. I will get the bonus points and then let him cash out the $800. Told him that would be 8 months of his car payment while he is at college. So, hopefully he gets it. He is AU on some of our cards and got the Chase Freedom back in January.

but I'm surprised Amazon hasn't figured out an algorithm to have their "pickers" moving through the warehouse in the most efficient pattern possible rather than sending them all over kingdom come to retrieve different items for the same order.

DH tries to help his customers figure this out... it's a nightmare!

Aren’t they taking up some of those pavers? My girlfriend wants to go look at hers one last time that’s outside of MK when we go in a couple of weeks since Disney is removing it.

Glad you are having fun here! I had to laugh at the bald eagle part and then realized we're just spoiled here. We've had one in our backyard which made no sense but I got a pic before it left. There's also a nesting pair down by the river path I run on. Have only seen the photographers but I know where to go if I wanted to see them I forget they aren't everywhere.

They are pretty much everywhere now.
