What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Dd and her boyfriend are in Thanksgiving break. She’s had a few requests while they’re here. DH made Italian wedding soup and I made roast beef sliders for Sat, Sunday was chili and cornbread. Yesterday, they went out for dinner so we had leftovers. And tonight we had chicken cutlets, mashed potatoes and peas.

It's all part of the fun for me. I enjoy it. Just like Black Friday. I enjoy being out and about.

Now I know who to send my BF shopping list to. I stopped enjoying the madness many years ago.

Actually I buy the uncooked kind at Walmart all the time in the refrigerated section. I buy the "raised without antibiotics" package. It is always very fresh tasting, not fishy at all. I swear by this recipe: Sensational spiced salmon. My husband isn't a seafood eater and even he loves salmon when I make it that way. If you give it a try, let me know what you think!

I can testify that this is a tasty recipe, you can make and keep the rub for awhile. I learned it here and it is our fav now. Replaced the tried and true olive oil, garlic and salt

I always keep a sealed container of the rub on hand. Makes for a quick and easy dinner.

LOL. I do all the grocery shopping for my family. DW refuses to go to Walmart. Absolutely despises it. Would rather do online ordering and grocery pickup. I'd rather go in and do it in person.

Tonight we will order a couple of pizzas. Too much prep to do today to have time to cook a meal today. My guests will arrive around dinner time since they have to work today (although they get to leave work early) and we try to time the pizza delivery to their arrival time.

I’m really hoping I’m done running errands. I found a new dining room rug today. I think it’s the last big thing I needed with the remodel. Hoping to do another dump run with our friends truck this weekend.

I’m making a veggie stir fry with lo mein noodles for dinner tonight.

French meat pie. This is a Thanksgiving Eve tradition for us. My Pepere used to make them but now my mom orders them. We’ll have some of the leftover cheesy cauliflower and green beans.
