I read that and thought "she must be new!" But in doing so, I saw...OT...that you're in Celebration? Awesome! Our last trip, in August, I spent a few hours there by myself while the rest of the family did a waterpark. Ate at Columbia Restaurant (excellent) and walked around, looked in stores. Nice!

Just to clarify what looks like a misconception here in several posts, there was no "offensive and rude" tag. The OP himself stated this earlier, that the tag (as any previous tags to my knowledge) have simply been quotes from his own posts.

So this was the same sort of tag that any other poster might see.

Changing your own tags is easy, you just add the text you want to the custom user title area in your profile. Anything the Tag Fairy has written there will be overwritten with your own entry.

It takes about 10 seconds to change it.

So the Tag Fairy put a quote from one of the OP's posts in as a tag. OP didn't like that and replaced it with a line from a 70's song.

Doesn't really seem worthy of 13 pages to me.

Kathy, would this be possible? Could a new option be added to the poster profile that would allow a poster to indicate whether or not they want tags added by the tag fairly. That way, those who don't want them could indicate such and there would be no confusion. Just a thought.

Really...the CB can do 13 pages in heartbeat over what color dixie cups should be in the bathroom or which way the toilet paper should go

But in all seriousness, if Dan has asked many times in the past to not have tags then whomever this Tag Fairy is should respect his wishes.

Dan's absolutely right.

The DIS: "We are family". And we pick on each other and fight back like siblings in the backseat on a cross-country road trip .

"Tag fairy" and Dan, please just leave each other alone. There's no denying that the tag fairy does know Dan's wishes, or that the first post in this thread went a little overboard in it's wording.

The ironic thing is that the day this thread started, I had posted something on another CB thread about the CB (I think phorsenuf started it?) saying how it isn't any more argumentative here on the CB than other DIS forums. Then this comes along on the same day and it's like people were trying to prove that the CB really IS scary .
