I got Blacklisted at WalMart!!!

3 returns in a 30 day period.....Now I'm on WalMart probation for 6 months.
I'm sorry but this is just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. My 3 returns this month didn't even total $50. What a joke! Meanwhile......the woman in line next to me was returning an artificial tree & that was ok

Now you have to use your SO's drivers license.......swap them back and forth (I use mine then DH's) No walmart blacklisting for me

Y'know, I honestly wish the store where I work enlisted some kind of blacklisting system. We have people who abuse the lenient return policy to ridiculous degrees on a daily basis, but because absolutely nothing in the store is computerized or automated to any degree, there's no way to track anything, including shrink. We're a major nationwide hobby chain, and because the founder believes in employees using "elbow grease" and "getting their hands dirty," he doesn't want anything to do with computers.

Man, inventory's gonna be a hoot in 2 weeks.

that's ridiculous!!! If your returns have a receipt and they have no other reason to suspect you of anything, then they should not be doing this!!! My DD is hard to buy clothes for - and the sizes these days range all over the place - and she is often not with me, so returns are pretty common. This would drive me nuts!!! I don't shop at Walmart for a variety of reasons - this adds another!

I think places should just give gift reciepts and refuse to accept any returns without reciepts.

I do agree that blacklisting for returns with receipts is ridiculous. If you have proof of purchase, there shouldn't be a penalty for returning something that doesn't work out, doesn't fit, is broken, etc. Craziness.

Your situation is VERY funny! I have such a love/hate relationship with WallyWorld. Ours will return ANYTHING (i know this for a fact ).

Toys R Us wont return ANYthing without a receipt becasue people would buy stuff at the less expensive Walart and return it without a receipt (claiming it was a gift) and get the store credit. I tried to return a gift at Toys R Us and that's the lecture I got. Like I was a theif or something. It just cracked me up is all.
