It it because we are Castaway Members, and they are not? We can book earlier then them? I'd think that I could add them since we are going to dine together..

I thought you could also as you were all in the same stateroom.
If they are in another stateroom then their window would have to be open before you could join the reservations for the same night at palo. I'm not positive on this one, hopefully someone else will verify.

They are in another stateroom (it's my brother and my grandma) but they are linked/connected to our reservation. I'm guessing its because they are not silver castaway club members. Will I be able to add them once their window opens?

You will be able to search for a table for your party's size once their window opens. It will not necessarily be at the same time you have already reserved.

Typically I reserve what I can and then add to my reservation onboard on the first day. If I'm unable to figure it out before sailing I try to leave SOMEthing on the books. It seems easier to add then to create new. They are very accommodating and will do everything in their power to seat you together. This past cruise we went from a table for 4 to a table for 8 onboard (two of our four cabins were silver, rest were gold/platinum). We had to change our time by a half hour for dinner and choose another brunch day but we all got to eat together and it was no bother.

Thanks. It's a brunch and we'll be going from 2 to 4 diners, so it shouldn't be too difficult to add them once we're on board.

There was some glitch in the system for our last cruise. We had two cabins/2 guests each. When I booked Palo brunch and dinner online, I checked for all guests or whatever the verbiage is. It listed all of us. But next time I checked, it listed just two. I tried repeatedly to add the other two to no avail. Called DCL and the CM told me it was a four top and included all of us even though I couldn't see that under either reservation.

Sure enough when we boarded, one cabin received an invitation for brunch the next day....two people only. Francesco (sp?) made the change to both reservations without any problem thankfully.

If you're all in the same stateroom you should be able to add them unless there isn't a table big enough for everybody.

If they are not in the same stateroom and they have a different booking date, you would not be able to add them until their booking date opens.

Our group of 7 couldn't get the same time. We were able to get a table for 4 at 10:00 a.m. and a table for 3 at 10:30 a.m. Do you think it will be a problem joining our reservations that first day?

We all had the same booking date. This was the third cruise in which we had multiple staterooms but the first time we had this issue. And it happened to both Palo reservations which I booked online.

It was truly odd especially as the CM assured me she could see we were all on the reservation.....but we weren't all included in the system Palo used obviously.

Your title is a little confusing, since you posted "other cabin members". I assumed they were in your cabin.
