Ugh, addon itis. I bought a contract in 20, 21, 22, 23 and I was very strong() in 24. Now I am wondering whether I I buy SSR, OKWE or BLT with the current pricing and sell my AUL $70pp for 90 to offset? It's so stupid I even question this when we likely won't be going to any US parks for another 3.5 years for obvious reasons. Or even better I keep Aulani and buy to join the 1000 point club. Looking forward to seeing Disney Paris and Tokyo next year instead, but no DVC rooms for us there.

If its just for SAP buy SSR. Seems like you have a lot of contracts already, OKW dues are on the higher side and blt has good availability and costs more than SSR.

If you go to aulani a lot not sure i would sell it and seems like you're not going to be going to any of them for a while, prices could go even lower i feel like they're declining pretty fast

I would want 2025 points even at that price to make it an instant sale. Though it is my use year lol

But I'm in the middle of finishing my basement so it's probably a no from me. But that doesn't stop me from checking on DVC deals every day

We have never been to Aulani. I bought them because I got them for $70 pp when disney took every contract I negotiated (think it was 10+ contracts). We tried to go in AUL in 2020 for our 20th but didn't think being separated from our kids by land was smart. This year we were going to Cali, then Aul, then Tokyo and HK for our 25th but now we have to book outside of USA so who knows when we will get to AUL. With that info as background, would you still go SSR?

I personally would not sell Aulani to buy SSR or OKWE. BLT could have arguments made for doing it but not the other two.

If you aren’t going for 3.5 years, I’d just hang tight. No need to make semi permanent decisions now.

That's the way I lean. I think the biggest thing is I like negotiating for good deals, so it's tough to be left out.

I get it. But if current uncertainty has you uncomfortable, wait until some of that uncertainty is gone before making big money moves!

If you bought aul for $70 pp why swap for SSR that is listed for more?

I feel this. We got water in part of our basement last summer. We had everything waterproofed and regraded part of our yard. But we still need to get walls and flooring back up in the room where the water came in. So knowing that project is on the horizon, I'm resisting the urge to add more DVC right now. But it's hard because a contract for almost exactly what I want came on the market a few days ago (VGC.) I'm going to be responsible though.

The AUL market is REALLY flooded right now and you have commissions, estoppel, and closing costs on a new contract…..
