hurricane wilma evacuation

Just got home after two weeks at FW. We are so impressed with the care and concern shown for the campers at the time of the hurricane. We were evacuated to All Star Sports, no additional cost. Other than a long check-in line, it went very smoothly. Can't believe there is another campground in the world that would do this for their guests. KOA would say "time for you to leave. Bye!"

We were also put up at the All Star Resorts, since there was 6 people in our trailer they even supplied us with two rooms.
I think Disney did a wonderful job, and handled the transfer of all the campers very smoothly.
My hats off to them for such a fine job.

Glad you're both back safely from the Fort after Wilma came to visit! Also glad that they took such good care of you! Doesn't totally surprise me though, this is Disney (big sigh). Can you tell I'm in need of a Disney fix? It's been 9 months since my last trip, and it'll probably be at least a year before we go back. Reading everyone's trip reports, and questions helps, but I really miss it there!
