We requested the Jamica BLDG for our trip in October.
Why did we? cause we are looking for a quiet area and
it looks very quiet but still centrall located.

Am I wrong in my assumptions?

Any Tips would be appreciated.

i don't know for sure, but we did so too, and for the same reasons (and i love their color scheme, LOL). we'll be going in august, and i'll write a report when i get back. :)

It's a great area, I thought it was quiet ... but then a couple days into our stay, we ended up with noisy neighbours  We stayed in building 42 and had a lakeview room, it was just under a 10 minute walk to the food court.

We stayed in Jamaica, bldg 46, on our honeymoon. It was about a 7 minute walk across Parrot Cay to the food court and only a couple minutes to the bus stop. We really liked the location. Walking over Parrot Cay always put us in the carribbean mood because they had piped in music playing. Loved it.

We stayed in Jamaica in 2001 and loved it!! Either 44 or 45 the one closest to the bus stop which was important to us. Also if you use the bus Jamiaica is the first stop because there is an entrance to resort back there!! In our 7 day stay there was only one bus trip where it came in the main entrance. So each time we were 1st on (great back seats for kids) and 1st off!!!

We loved the morning walk for coffee in the morning!! Would definitely request Jamaica!!!!

I have pictures of Jamaica on my web site listed below. I would also suggest you read the CBR FAQ's thread also. Jamaica is a great village but I think all the villages are nice.

Well, it sounds like Jamaica is great! We requested the Jamaica buildings also for the same reasons as you. We are celebrating our 5th anniversary, and so quiet but convenient appeals to us. I haven't heard anyone complain about this section of CBR.

I don't think there are any noisy sections at CBR. There is so much landscaping I rarely hear any noise.
