How to get to Kennedy Space Centre?

Can we do it without renting a car? Am thinking my older kids 14 and 11 might enjoy it more than the 7 yr old?

Mears runs limited service to KSC (few days a week) but renting a car would be easier and more flexibile.

Thanks for the reply. I agree renting a car is a better option, having looked up the cost of one of the car services.
