As someone who is just starting to be interested (and only doing freebie stuff for now, though I'm seriously considering a simon visa ;) )....just how sustainable is this?

I hear about folks making a couple hundred bucks in a month, but how often are there new offers and will they keep coming enough that you can do that for a while?

Or, will it be a couple hundred dollars, you've done all that you can do and that's that?

It all just seems too good to be true :confused3

Convince me that I can do this and pay for most of my vacation???!!!! :cloud9: Actually, convince my DH :rolleyes1

I do the trials also and it takes a little money to make money. But I figure I would have put that money away for vacation anyway. I limit my simon spending to $25 a week.

I have been on both sites about 6 weeks now.

SR I have cashed out $150 in Disney cards and $25 cash.

CD Thursday I will be cashing out $510. Totaling $750 in about 5 weeks.

I think that most of us know that eventually it will come to an end, but are enjoying it while we can.

I made $210 last month with CD, $525 with CD in May (have over $125 in pendings) and then $355 with SR last month, $180 with RHC in May and $39 with Treasure Troopers.

I just surpased $2,000 in overall RP earnings this month :cool1: Now I have been doing RPs for about a year but most of those earnings ($1,500+) have been in the past 3 months.

It can be challenging but alot of fun as well. As I said on another thread, as long as the RPs keep finding more offers, I'll keep earning :)

I think you can keep going for a while. There are always new offers out there, plus surveys, trivia and the promos. Yes you probably are going to hit slow times, especially if you just went gung ho and made $500 in a month, but I think it is possible to keep going if you are at a steady pace.

I'm picky though. I do the sign ups and a few trial offers a month. I don't like doing ones that I have to send stuff back (I've only done a couple) but do a lot of the online sign up offers because I figure they aren't investing anything in me beside an account name. So, I go slower than others do and thus able to pretty much find something to make money on.

And for me...I have fun doing it. It's fun to see the numbers go up! And it is sure making it easier to convince hubby that we need to go back to Disney!!

I really think you get out of the rewards programs what you put into them. If you do just the paid clicks, trivia, surveys and emails you will consistently earn but of course it will be slow. If you participate in the cc offers you will definaly earn very quickly! And if you do online shopping using the links on the rewards sites, well those earning are limitless. As far as potential income, I certainly think you have a great opportunity to pay for a vacation or at least put a significant dent in the bill (depending on how much time you have of course!) I have earned almost $500 in about 5-6 weeks and I definately still have options to continue to earn at that rate. For how long, :confused3 I can't say...but I am certainly going to work at them as long as I can!

And there is good news and bad news coming out of the rewards program advertising world. The bad news is that they are discontinuing a lot of our big incentivized offers due to fraud. The really good news, though, is that advertising dollars seem to get more loose as the year goes on. SR's biggest months in 2006 were July and November. The more advertising dollars that are out there, the more new offers that will pop up. So hopefully the last two quarters of 2007 will continue to see a lot of newer offers.

Believe me, I keep thinking every month that there cannot possibly be more advertisers out there with new products that they will run through rewards programs. And then every month I am pleasantly surprised that they keep showing up!

I have been a member of SR for a little over a year and have earned about $450 or so. That is the main site I use, as I don't seem to have much luck with CD. I also do clicks on a couple of others, and do Mypoints as well.

For me, I try to make enough on SR so that I can stay a Super member each quarter. That is generally what I shoot for. I often save some of the bigger offers till the next quarter, and hope that they don't go away before I get a chance to do them. I think it does take a more concerted effort once you have done it for a while, but even a little bit here and there adds up.

I have made enough from reward sites, when paired with my CC rewards to pay for our park passes for 8 days in July!!!:cool1:
