This is our most epic trip and is a Christmas gift from MIL. We probably won't be doing a trip like this for awhile. So we're gonna make the most of it!

4 days tickets with water park (hoping for warm weather)
Quick service dining

$2444

I have $620 in disney reward credits as of today. Add us to the cheap Disney group :)

Wife and I are doing a long weekend in December for Disapalooza............

4 days/3 nights at AoA (mermaid room) $1100 (includes tickets no park hopper)
Flight from Newark NJ $560
Food aprx $500
Disapalooza/MVMCP $300
Souvenirs/Misc. $300
$2760

The food and souvenirs sections are wild cards, my expectation (errr hope is more the feeling) is they'll be less but ya never know. No discounts here as AoA Mermaid room doesn't get free dining......on the surface free dining looks good but do the calculations to make sure. We're doing 2 special events that add to the cost and maybe we'll get something on the room later but not expecting it. Making payments as we go..:-)...........yeah its expensive but its DISNEY!!!! (I'm a bit crazy too...:P)

As I thought about this...........It's kinda crazy to live in NJ and take a long weekend at WDW. We're gonna do it this time because its a special occasion and we can make it work. Looking to having AP for 2017 (saving up using Disney Vacation account)...........with tickets and discounts, plus Tables in Wonderland...........looks to be more affordable to take those long weekends...........well I guess we'll see right o_O

I so thought about doing this...Disapalooza and MVMCP, but family of 5 is cost prohibitive right now. Guess we could leave the (by then) 3 year olds at home, that seems mean though.

We're at POP in a standard room with FD upgraded to TS November 10-18. 2 adults, I child.

Flights from Prince George, BC Canada $483.21 CAD (we're flying on points so we're only paying the taxes)

Hotel, 6 day PH and FD $2571.25 USD ($3106.07 CAD) Boo exchange rate!!

I still figure even with the exchange $3600 for 3 of us with food included is a great deal for WDW!! I can't wait!! :rotfl:
Pixie dust to everyone for an awesome trip to The Happiest Place on Earth!

are you sure your exchange rate is correct? A few times you used 30% should be closer to 20%

I used 30% as a guesstimate. I'd rather overestimate than come up short when I do my budget. It was 26% when we paid off our Aug trip. It makes me feel better to come in 'under budget.' IYKWIM ;).
