My dd's birthday is Nov. 21, 1997! I guess it's a small world after all! :lmao:
I hope you all have a fabulous trip - these little princesses and pirates grow up awfully fast. princess:

@dizcrazee I love that you are doing this trip for your daughter's 16th. Such a great way to spend a little money. You won't regret the $200 Christmas at all. See if your library has the Little House Christmas book for ideas on making memories with little to no money. :goodvibes

Thank you! I will definitely see if I can get that book! I hope you have a wonderful trip too.:goodvibes

And the 4th time is the charm. I paid in full and am almost in the 45 day window so no changing ....again.....

Flights from Boston $910 (if I remember right) somewhere around that anyways.

It sure was a lot cheaper to go when the girls were 9 and under. Then I would pay for the dining plan and use room discounts. This time it was $200 less to use free dining and pay full price for room.

3 nights at the Contemporary July 3-6 with pass holder discount, and we are paying for 2/3rds of it with Disney gift cards we get for 5% off with our target debit card.
$911.11

Thank you! We are going to have a "Beauty and the Beast" themed birthday party on her actual birthday (the 21st), and then on the 23rd, we leave for WDW!

You're welcome! :) Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney film. My birthday cake was topped with a big white chocolate Belle. :) You're going at a good time. I remember that the crowds kept on getting thinner each day after thanksgiving, with the exception of Christmas parade filming days.

B & B is my daughter's favorite too! Mmmm...a white chocolate Belle - that's a great idea! Thanks again. :wave2:

So, I've been putting off making this post because I DON'T want to know the bottom line :rotfl: My cast of characters include my husband and myself and our two sons 23 & 17 years old. We are headed down for our 25th wedding anniversary which we celebrated on May 7 and for my sons' birthdays they are only 8 days apart at the end of September

Villas at Wilderness Lodge 2 bedroom $1,250 (I consider my maintenance dues as part of a vacation cost and I had to buy 13 more points)

Airfair ISP to MCO for 4 $1,119.20 on Southwest

Food for the week I budgeted $200 per day for a grand total of $1600 also $200 from garden grocer for breakfast and snack foods

2 Annual passes with DVC discount $928
2 Eight day park hoppers $638

Wishes Cruise $317 including tip

For drinks and souvenirs $300

Tables in Wonderland card $100 with DVC discount

For a grand total of $6452.20

Honeymooning at WDW on 9/25 - 10/5

$3127.20 for Coronado Springs w/ Free Dining Plan plus 8 day MYW Park Hopper tix. The reason for only 8 day tix is we are getting there late afternoon on 9/25, doing a Downtown Disney day mid-trip, and then leaving early on 10/5.

I'm going to take a few liberties in adding up my costs. I know that I pay for my DVC points every month, but to me, that's like paying my utilities every month. I like to look at our Disney Vacations in terms of what do they cost on top of what we normally pay in a month. With that being said:

Travel dates: July 23-July 30

Airfare for 2 adults and 1 child (2 years old in her own seat) on Southwest: $610*

*used CC points to pay for 2 of the direct flights

2 nights at Saratoga Springs in a deluxe studio: 32 pts

5 nights in a Royal Room at Port Orleans Riverside: $1,013 (booked using the room-only discount)

Tickets: using Premium Annual Passes from last year

Food: we actually did the math in trying to determine whether or not to get the DDP! We'll round up from our worksheet: $800.

Souvenirs: 3 Disney gift cards given to us at Christmas: $150 (not our cost!)

Subtract $110 from our Disney Visa rewards that we're cashing in!

Grand total: $2,313

Not too shabby!
