How is the weather?

It is pleasantly warm here. I saw people at work today @ the Mk in shorts. It was 71 degrees yesterday. It rained for a short while, then the sun and people really came out. A cold front is expected soon as per the local orlando forecasters.

It's actually pretty nice down here though a cold front is moving through which caused some rain today. The forecast claims sun and around 70 the rest of the week, but please be forewarned -- 70 in FL feels colder than 70 up north! I'm from Chicago and if we had 70 degree weather, people would be laying out at the beach! Down here, 70 feels different...you'll still want pants and long sleeves...I wore a turtleneck and a winter coat tonight for Illuminations and it was supposedly around 60. The wind is chilly too...so yeah, people are in shorts down here but they're either from northern Canada or they may not have packed appropriately! ;)

Anyone know how long the cold front is suppose to last?

Crossing my fingers..........

We leave on Sunday and I am worried about the weather. It seems like we may have rain for our vacation. Disneyworld should have real-time weather on their website.

Last night was FREEZING!!! :cold: We had our winter coats on , I sure hope it warms up today!

How heavy are your coats? We are from California so cold for us is in the 60's. Should we take super heavy coats???? My DD has a pretty thick jacket, should I bring it???? We will be seeing Spectromagic late one night. Maybe we'll go earlier in the week so it will be warmer. Any advice?

We were there Dec. 17-26 and experienced a wide range of weather. First couple of days were cold and drizzly, but we never got full out rained on. We brought our kids mid-weight jackets (no parkas) and were fine with layers. On the cold days they wore T-shirt, long sleeved shirt, jacket, and then hat and gloves when necessary. The coldest when we were there was prob upper 40's when we were in a park. Back half of the trip the sun came out and it warmed up a bit. I think the high of the trip was low 70's.

During the day we just had jackets on and probably could have gone without them if we needed to. It was very comfortable all day, then when the sun went down, we changed. I was sooo glad we had our coats with us. I would suggest taking coats as when we got back to the car it was 48 degrees! I'm from NY/NJ and am used to the cold, but for some reason I was freezing!
Today was chilly in the am, but now it's nice. They say it will warm up, I would just keep checking the weather.com, but take coats just incase, at least you won't be sorry if it's cold and you don't have them :)
