How early to fax requests for rooms at ASMo?

I had my kids looking through pictures of both ASMo and Poly for our trip. They think its for hubby and I and all 4 liked ASMo better :sigh. They were yelling and screaming at the computer screen. So I cancelled the Poly for 9/21-9/30 and switched to 2 rooms at ASMo. They want the Buzz room.. when can I fax over my request to them? We had the Woody section last time. I did switch hubby and I's reservation to the Poly though so at least we have 4 days there. And with my savings, maybe I will add an extra night there (Poly was $1600 more than 2 rooms at ASMo).

Oh and since we are staying a lot cheaper, I also added 2 extra nights to our stay. We now have 12d, 11n!

Many resorts are ignoring the faxes. If you call reservations you can add your requests with them. That way there is no need to match up a fax with your reservation.

I did, but it wouldnt take 2 requests. We would like the Buzz Lightyear section but also a king connecting to the doubles. they got the Buzz Lightyear section listed in the requests, but the system wouldnt let them also add King connecting to the doubles. I called ASMO and they said to fax and call 5 days before arrival. But I wanted to check with those in the "know" here because sometimes I have seen CM give out wrong info.
