How does Magical Express work for Canadians now?

It's my understanding that Disney no longer mails the yellow luggage tags to Canadians. Is this correct? If so, how do you get Disney to transfer your luggage for you (without luggage tags)? TIA!

This is the first I've heard of not mailing the yellow baggage tags. I've read about Canadians not getting the special luggage tags that you get with your magic bands because they won't mail magic bands to Canada due to the RFID chips in them. They only situation where you aren't able to use the yellow luggage tags for ME to collect your bags is if you clear customs at MCO.

I have not heard that, and doubt that it would be true. We got the yellow tags this past Dec when we went.

I leave next thurs. Received my tags about 3 weeks ago. Even though I am only taking carry on, but I have the tags.

Yes mine came about 6 weeks out. Magic bands were pick up at resort during check in though

Last tine I went was almost two years ago, and we booked 11 months in advance. IIRC we got our luggage tags within a few weeks of booking as well as a nice personalized Trip booklet with info about the parks and a reminder of our dining and Fastpass booking dates. This time, we’ve booked just as far in advance and have received nothing yet. I was told by our agent that they won’t mail the yellow tags out until closer to the trip date.

Yeah, they definitely still mail them. We didn't need to use ours for Feb because we were arriving late. We are going in May, late night flight again, so I told my TA not to bother giving them to us - she got them last week.
