How does it work with a large group?

When we went to wdw with our extended family it was easy to book us all on the same ride at the same time with Fast Pass. Now that FP went the way of the dodo, how does it work now? Can you get all of your party booked on the same ride at the same time or are you out of luck and have to use the stand by line?

Depending on who is going our family group can be as large as 18 (adults and kids).

The maximum with Genie+ is 12, so you would have to break up your party into two groups. Getting an overlapping rides times between the two groups could prove quite difficult since the time you chose isn’t necessarily the time you get once all is said and done.

Twelve would work. There are six kids with the oldest being 8.

There aren’t many rides that we all can go on as a group, so on those we will try to do on an early opening day. Thanks again.
