How does Fastpass work these days?

Hi,

I know this is probably answered somewhere buried in one of these threads, but I was hoping someone might give me an easy and simple answer to the above...

We were in WDW last year and wee lucky enough to get. Magic Bands whilst they were being trialled, so got to make the most of FP+ and also 'double dipped' on a couple of occasions.

How does FP+ now work, now that the Magic Bands have rolled out?

Is it still three per park per day?

Can you still 'double dip' (I'm guessing not now the trials are over)

How does normal fastpass work now?

I had heard that only those with Magic Bands and staying on resort can use Fastpass but I find that hard to believe?!?

There is only FPP. No legacy FP. You can book three for one park in advance. 60 days out for onsite guests and 30 for off site guests. You can then book and fourth when your third is used, then a fifth and so on but only at a kiosk for the park you are currently in. Of course. This could all change..... That's today anyway

MK and AK you can choose anything.

DHS and Epcot there is an ugly tiering system in place. They have just messed with the selections in each tier a bit.
