I LOVE all of the questions. We just walked back in the door from the "Open Door" Playgroung (really called Island Playground). It's like all the "blow up" bounce on kind of toys...after two hours there mommy's had ENOUGH of yelling screaming kids! Mine are quiet though now! :rotfl: It rained all day so they needed to get it out!

So, I promise to answer all of your questions and try to wrap up this TR this weekend. :rolleyes1

I have just found this trip report and it is WONDERFUL! Great photos and those boys are just adorable! You are truly blessed with a wonderful family.

Well thank you so very much for both the TR compliment and my family. I love them and that's all that matters! It's just a bonus when others love them too! :grouphug:

That is a great list Jill!!!! I can't believe you thought of all of those questions! I can't wait to read Lynn's answers!!
I know, orientation on a Sat. It was either that or Sunday. No thanks!!! Happy weekend everybody!:cheer2:

Yeah I was thinking that too...and you told them you didn't want to work weekend! :rotfl: I think they just did that to be mean to you!

Thank you! Thank you!:wizard:
I will definatly do this on mine. I was thinking of making a new thread with these questions but I want to tweak it a bit first.
Lynn, I hope I did not overwhelm you with homework Teehee:hug:

K, orientation was, well... orientation. Dumb videos, scenarios, paperwork. I did however get my discount card. 20% off of most everything. And, I get to give my big kids and Harv one of their own so they can use it when I'm not with them. I have to go back tomorrow to finish up. It was either tomorrow or wait until Fri which I didn't want to do. I want to get going with the schedule. Don't want to drag this on and on.
It sounds like you had a busy day today Lynn. Sounds like fun though.
We had our last regular season game last night and won!!! :cheer2: Our varsity guys went 10-0!! We won our division and are going to the playoffs undefeated. DS dressed, he's a freshman, and got to stand on the side lines with the "big boys". It was neat to see him standing there, but that's all he did. Stand. The coach was asking for the freshman boys, who want to dress next week, to raise their hands. DS was the only one who didn't. They are starting basketball already and he plays that too. I'd rather have him working on that than standing on the sidelines. It was a good opportunity for him though.
That's all I got today. Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday!!!

Hey Everyone!!!

Today was super busy! We went to lunch for Dan's secretary's birthday and I didn't eat anything the rest of the night. I woke up at 2:00 just sick as ever. I finally fell back asleep about 4:00 and Corbin was up by 5:45. :headache: Needless to say...I'm exhausted!

Last night we took the boys to an indoor bouncy playground thing to play for a couple of hours but it didn't tire them out like it should have! :rolleyes1

I was up and heading to garage sales by 7:30 this morning with Corbin. We were back home by 9 and supposed to be at the story time at the library at 10. His friend from across the street (my bosses son) came over to play so there was no talking him in to going today! :rotfl:

Dan had to work at some Halloween thing this morning from 10-2 so I put the boys down for a nap-well, Carter...Corbin wouldn't give in and sleep. I spent my time filling out freebie stuff on websites trying to help cut costs :rolleyes1 Really it was kind of fun and it'll be fun when it comes in the mail that's for sure!

When Dan got home, we got the kids ready and headed to the football game so Mommy could sell stuff. Dan took the boys grocery shopping after they watched the first game. Corbin said they were going to make me dinner and have it ready when I got home....not so much really. :rotfl: Oh well.

So today's done pretty much...I'm just checking in before I crash for the night. I told Corbin the only reason he could get up before he saw the light under his blinds was to go to the bathroom and go back to bed. :goodvibes

I stopped and got the boys their pumpkins tonight-I really want to find a pumpkin patch for next year! Buying them at the store is NO fun! We'll probably do that tomorrow before the fall festival thing here in our development. I've also got to get the treat bags ready for Friday night. I bought some candy for the "regular" kids and have treat bags for Corbin's little friends that stop by. I think I'm going to send Dan trick or treating with the boys while I stay and pass out candy so I can meet some neighbors. That way Carter can come back whenever and he and Corbin can just keep going and going-Corbin will go all night if he knows there's candy in it for him! :rotfl:

Alright....Grace-how fun! Hope the wedding was nice! How sweet of you to offer and help them make some ADRs.

Lisa-Glad to hear the orientation went well. Smart to get it over with sooner rather than later. Start putting those checks away to save for a super trip! :goodvibes Yay for the game! That's wonderful!:woohoo:

Jill-Not mad about the homework at all! If I wasn't so whipped, I'd do it tonight. I wasn't planning on being sick last night and up for all that time.

Alrighty....it's off to bed now for me. I've got to really get some sleep-no  tonight!

Alrighty readers....here's our first bet of the PTR (I think)...

Guess what Dan has planned for the night of my birthday. If you guess correctly, I'll send you something cool from Disney. :woohoo:

Here's the "clues" so far.

It's the night of my birthday
Outside MK-not in the park
He says he's never heard of it so he doesn't think I know about it
It's not in a restaurant
He has to make reservations

That's all I know...I'm a little confused as to what he's got planned. He came home from working at a Fire Prevention thing yesterday afternoon with this hairbrained idea so I'm not sure where it even came from!

Another trip update...

Sounds like our friends Sandy and Angie might be coming for the entire time now since we were able to find someplace cheap to stay. If we split the cost, that's only $250/ each family or $50/day which is pretty good! We're going to wind up spending less on our entire trip than we did on just our room at AKL.

We officially cancelled our room last night to get our $200 deposit back. :sad2: I'm starting to get more excited though since we're saving that money we can do more "fun" stuff too so that's cool!

Dan's "secretary" (she's everyone in his office's secretary) might also come for the weekend as well! She's never been and just loves Disney so we're trying to talk her into coming for the weekend just to go and see if she likes it or not. I think we'll have her hooked too! :goodvibes

Non-Disney update...Not much really!

I need to start working on a plan for the week that my mom's supposed to be here. We'll really only have a couple of days to do anything-Tuesday and Wednesday-since Thursday's Thanksgiving and they're leaving on Friday. Depending on what time they get here on Monday we might head out to the ocean or something or just do dinner. We'll head to Charleston-probably on Tuesday-and check that out. Wednesday we'll probably head to Savannah and try to eat at Paula Deen's place since that's something that we've kind of taken everyone to since we've been here. Wednesday night we're having a bunch of people over for a Low Country Boil (shrimp and stuff all cooked together) and some grilled chicken and other snacky stuff. We'll have about 25-30 people here and one of the fire fighters runs a business that rents bounce houses so we're going to work out a deal with him to have one here for the kids that night so they're intertained while the adults eat and chat. Then Thursday is Thanksgiving. Angie and Sandy and my bosses family that live across the street and her husband's parents and brother and his family are probably all coming over to eat. Two huge meals in a row is going to be crazy! I'm going to have to spend the weekend before and after cleaning up the mess! :rotfl:

As for the Christmas plans, still no decision there. We're going for sure. Part of me just wants to fly to make it easier...I just don't want to get stuck someplace. :headache:

Alright....I've been tasked with trying to figure out what we're doing at Disney now that we don't have the IPO peeps to help us out. :rolleyes1 We're going to have to have a Disney night soon so we can plan accordingly. Angie and Sandy leave in a couple weeks so we'll probably get together when they come back to see what they want to do that they didn't get a chance to do. I think they're a little unsure of what to expect with the boys going-it's usually just adults when they go!

Have a super wonderful Sunday! I've got to get my house cleaned today and take the boys over to the fall festival thing in our park. I've also got to get the treat bags ready for Friday night. Another busy week ahead!

What are the "IPO peeps"? Confusion there, on my part.
I'm glad that your friends decided to stay the whole time. And, what a great price for a week  That's fantastic!!!!
I didn't know your mom was coming, or should I say I didn't remember that you said your mom was coming. I wish my mom was coming, but they were here in June and I don't think they'll be here any time soon. Sometimes they come the week after Christmas. My DSIL isn't coming this coming weekend because I have too much going on and so I think they are talking about coming over Thanksgiving. That would be fun to have someone here over Thanksgiving. Nobody comes our way for that holiday.
So my first day of work is Wed at 6 a.m. I probably won't get a paycheck until Nov 21st. I hate starting a job and trying to get in on the pay schedule. Oh, well.
I'm still trying to figure out what Dan's surprise is for you??? I'm mad he told you so early and now you have to stew about it trying to figure it out. Hmmm... I don't know much about Orlando to even begin to guess. Does it have anything to do with Disney??
Hope you had fun at the fall festival. I don't even have my Halloween stuff out and don't think it's going to get out. Harvey hurt his back this weekend and so, why get it out for one week and have to take it down right away. Another Halloween gone by with no decorations. :sad2:

Me, me, me........I gotta guess.......how about the Ice thingy at the Gaylord Palms??

Good Morning! Enjoy your last couple days of sleeping in!:goodvibes

The IPO peeps are the club level planning people...they have some fancy dancy name :rotfl:

Good thing we didn't end up changing any reservations from 6 to 4-it wound up working out!

She just decided she was coming....we'll see how long she actually stays. She's very much on her own time so it could be a day or it could be the whole week. Depends on how long I can put up with my step dad I guess! :rotfl:

Good gravy I hope your hubby's ok! I've got to take down the Halloween stuff this weekend or next week and put up the Thanksgiving stuff before my mom gets here. :headache: If she wasn't coming I'd probably pack that all away! :rolleyes1

Me, me, me........I gotta guess.......how about the Ice thingy at the Gaylord Palms??

Ohhhh....what's that?? :confused3

He spilled his guts last night. I was working on the schedule of stuff and we have 7:00 dinner reservations that same night he wanted to do something. So, really, honestly without trying to get any more clues (even though I wanted to!), I asked what time we needed to be at his thing and he said he wasn't sure and wasn't sure if it was booked yet. Ok....so then I asked how long it was going to take and he said about two hours. Alright...so I was trying to think about how we would fit another two hours in there without him telling me where we had to be or anything like that.

Then... I looked at him and said "We're not taking a Wishes cruise!". He looked at me with his mouth hanging open and asked who told me.   He won't say if he's still going to try and book it or not but one thing figured out...supposedly he has more. :confused3 He was amazed that I was able to figure it out so I had to pick on him all night about it.

Alright...open house today....need to get the fire station all cleaned up pretty!

OH... a Wishes tour!!! That is very thoughtful of him. I know you would love that.
He's getting better. He gets spasms in his back, but this time it was really bad. I know that if he'd lose some weight, it wouldn't hurt so bad. Same as me. If my a** wasn't so big, my hips and feet wouldn't hurt so much. I'm going to try and change myself this week. My goal is to get to the gym everyday. I'll go after work. This going with Harvey at night just doesn't fit into my schedule with Abby. She has stuff almost every night of the week.
So open house at the fire house. Does that mean you have kids coming in to see what it's all about? Sounds like a great time.
And, you'll be happy to know that my fat a** is freezing in OH! It's now in the 30's. So, yep. I think it's going to be a cold Halloween for us. Last couple of years we've had pleasant weather. Light to no coats needed. So you enjoy your little warm place of the world little lady.
Gotta go get Travis off to the orthodontist this a.m. Have a good one and I'm sure I'll hear from you soon.

Oops wrong guess.......:sad2: I haven't ever been to the Ice thingy, but it's supposed to be many ice sculptures and stuff at the GayLord Palms near Disney....I always wanted to go and it's on my brain lately, since it's so cold here! The Wishes Cruise sounds awesome though!!!!!

Okay, so you officially suck! Why are you trying to figure out your surprises? Let the man have some secrets!!! You are banned from trying to figure anything else out!!!!!

Well you better take care of him! :goodvibes

I used to go to the gym all the time when I lived with my mom-I had nothing else to do but work and work out! I really need to get back into a schedule. I want to loose some weight before Christmas but I just have to find the time. I usually only eat once a day so it's frustrating...I've tried the eating lots of little things but I just don't have time for that.

It's in the 70s today here...it's supposed to be in the 50s and 60s the next couple of days but back up to 70 by Friday for trick or treating.

Sorry....I'm sure I missed things but got caught up with station tours a few hours ago and am just sitting back down. :headache:

Oops wrong guess.......:sad2: I haven't ever been to the Ice thingy, but it's supposed to be many ice sculptures and stuff at the GayLord Palms near Disney....I always wanted to go and it's on my brain lately, since it's so cold here! The Wishes Cruise sounds awesome though!!!!!

Sounds really cool! Maybe we'll have to check it out! :goodvibes

Okay, so you officially suck! Why are you trying to figure out your surprises? Let the man have some secrets!!! You are banned from trying to figure anything else out!!!!!

He said he's got lots more secrets so I'm not worried. I honestly wasn't trying to guess or get clues I promise! :flower3: I was trying to figure out how much time he needed for this and he gave a few too many details. I'm really not grilling him about any more surprises or things he has planned. I'm trying to get our schedule figured out so he can look at it and figure out what he's doing. Unfortunetly it's probably not going to be "final" until our friends get back in the middle of November. :headache:

Alright....I'm sorry I let you down Jill. I'll try harder next time! :flower3:

I went to the gym and did an hour of cardio! And you know my body was like "what in the HECK is goin on here"??? :rotfl:
How did the tours go today?
And you are right to not guess anymore. It takes the fun out of it. I'm happy that you have a husband who thinks of you and plans. My BFF's DH is kinda a jerk in that dept. I feel so sorry for her. There's a lot of other things that he doesn't do too. I always like to hear about thoughtful husbands.

o.k. I go away for a couple of days and I miss so much!!!!!
I glad that Dan is planning something for you birthday:) I was going to quess a carriage ride, but after reading all the post. I see it a Wishes Cruise!!:thumbsup2 That's awesome, you should get some beautiful pictures:thumbsup2
I did think it was funny that he thought that you would not know about them, with all your disney knowledge.

Yes we did go the Circus on Friday nite it was fun. Landen was very good.
They did not do the usual 3 ring circus, it was all done on one big ring it was so much easier to see.

Lisa I hope your hubby back is better:flower3: Didn't Abby have a Cheer compitiaon the weekend? How it go?
We booked a package for our trip. My family likes the dining, and we are hoping to get "Free Dining":) I make monthy payment too.

Hi Jill, Your trip is getting Close just about 1 month Right?
I going to try to get over and catch up on you PTR tonite.

Have good nite everyone.

Sorry I've been such a slacker guys. I've been sick every night since Friday and just can't figure out what's wrong with me. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon at 2 so hopefully I'll have some answers when I'm done with that. Two years of not being able to eat hardly anything and being sick...I'm so over that!

With that, I promise I'll post what happens this afternoon when I get back to work for those concerned but then, depending on what happens, I might need to take a little break. I'll finish up this long drawn out report (and my homework from Jill) just as soon as I can! :goodvibes

I can't thank you all enough for reading, lurking and commenting. I cannot wait to write another TR and share our fun with everyone. :goodvibes I've been lucky enough to meet some amazing people and make some wonderful friends in the process and I'm so thankful for that.:grouphug: :flower3:

Have a wonderful afternoon everyone!
