How 1 trip turned to 2 and now turning into 3!! Update Pg 40 Days 3, 4 and 5!!

Here's the BIG adoption update!!!

:rolleyes1

:flower3:

Our friends have decided to move forward and try to make this adoption happen!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:   :dance3: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I cannot tell you how happy we are right now for them!

I sent the "official" email to my friend to let her know and get them in contact! I'm almost more excited than if we were going to move forward! They're going to get a cute little amazing :cutie: princess: !!! And I'll still get to hold a brand new baby! :goodvibes It's really a win/win for me! :goodvibes

Did I tell you guys I'm excited????

I talked to my friend last night and she's going to email me ultrasound pictures-I cannot wait to see them!

I'm so happy for them I just want to jump up and down and scream!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I love them both so much and was talking to Angie all afternoon and she was just so darned excited she couldn't stand it. I'm so happy for them!

Alright...need to get it together for a little bit. Now "cutting back" on our Dec trip is totally worth it since we'll have to take the new baby to Disney a LOT. And she'll be our only princess: so she will get spoiled! :goodvibes

Question for you guys...once they get everything in order, am I out of line to throw her a smallish baby shower in January?? I don't think I would be and it might help her to have more of the "Mommy" experience. Since they don't have anything they're going to need a LOT. Thank goodness they decided before Christmas! :goodvibes

Alright...time to try and be normal. It's going to be so hard to keep quiet until they decide to tell people! I just pray that everything will go well and she won't change her mind once she has the baby or anything like that. Lots more praying to do. It's going to be a LONG wait until February! :surfweb:

princess: Wonderful news!! I'm so happy for your friend
I think a shower is certainly the right thing to do!! To celebrate a new life!!
A princess theme would be fittingprincess: I will pray for them that every goes right.

I am enjoying the pictures!! Carter and Corbin have such beautiful smiles:)

I will be interest in hearing about staying off , maybe at 45 days though something will open up. Some one I know stayed at a home in Windsor Hills.she said it was nice, I can ask for more info if you need it.

O.K. Crodillie in the back yard!! Doesn't that worry you a little?

We just had SONIC open here about 15 minutes from our house, We all went in 2 cars for dinner last week to was fun, need to go back for just slushie:banana:

I think I had better check in mire often here I know I missed lots
Have a good nite.

I am only on page 5 (I think lol) but had to comment on your TR - what a great job and your boys are so adorable and cute and what a great Grandma they have!! She really pitched in and helped - that is awesome!

I had a question on the above pic tho before I continue reading - who is riding with Carter in the seat behind Grandma with Corbin?!!!

We let him ride alone.

JUST KIDDING!

I sat with him after I took the picture :goodvibes

Thank you so very much! That's all we can do at this point. I spent my night going through some baby clothes of the boys that I just couldn't part with, dug out my baby/pregnancy books and looked over some information for her. It's amazing that my kids ever fit into anything that small! I also found a photo album of pictures of Carter when he was born and in the RNICU...what a little angel :goodvibes

I'm totally doing the shower! :goodvibes I love them so much! It's going to be wonderful!! I cannot wait until January to do it! I also can't wait until their paperwork is done so there's some kind of commitment on both ends to hopefully help reduce any problems going forward.

Of course I'm right.:lmao: :lmao:
One thing that I've discovered about babysitting this morning is that I'm so done with toddlers. My youngest is 9, so I've been done with little ones for quite a while. It's o.k. for today, but I know that I wouldn't want to do this everyday. I know it's different when they're your own, but hello. I'm 37 years old. I know that there are others out there that are just starting their families at my age, but it's not for me. I was a very young mom, 20 to be exact and although I was too young to be having children, I look forward to being a young grandma. WoW, that was deep! :confused3 Who knew???
Off to the grocery store so that I may consume the rest of my day with laundry!! :laundy:

:rotfl2: :lmao: Please don't talk to my friends who are going to adopt...she just turned 40!

:grouphug:

Glad you made it through alright! You mean you won't be here to fill in next time my nanny needs a vacation??? :goodvibes

Super Cheap Wii???? There's a super cheap version of the Wii? Where?

I ordered it from QVC-it's like a "plug and play" type thing. I'm sure you could probably find it cheaper at Target or someplace. I'll keep an eye open for you.

We do the same thing.

That's Awesome!! Congrats to Corbin! Leon still has training wheels and he's turning 6! i figure we will take them off in the spring. I am afraid if we attempt to do it know and then he has to wait till the weather warms to do it again we may have to back track. He will be getting a new bike for Christmas from Grandma & Grandpa. So that may be insentive for the spring.

Sounds like a good plan. Corbin wants a new bike now that he can ride on two wheels! :sad2:

HaH! I thought the same thing:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The alligator sinks into the water if you sit in the car too long on the side of the road...the darned lizard gets into my house! :scared1:

Happy Tuesday! I'm glad you checked in today!!

Thanks so much-I think they're pretty cute!! :goodvibes

Yeah I think we're just going to stay off property this time so our friends can stay right with us. This way we can find a good place to stay next time we all want to go together since we'll have a new baby with us and everything like that! :goodvibes

Really...it doesn't probably as much as it should. The neighborhood hasn't had problems with them and anywhere you go here you're going to find them. I'd rather know that there are two and where they are instead of just happening to find one in my backyard one day. Corbin loves to look in the backyard and see Jeff in the lagoon swimming around.

I do love Sonic...I could use a slush from there right now. That and Jim and Nick's lemonade. I'd be a happy woman with a lifetime supply of both of those things!:rotfl:

Ok...here are the first of the photopass pictures. Once life settles back down a little bit, I'll add the end of the trip. It's going to be so sad to "finish"... :sad1: Everyone will just have to come visit my PTR, then my next TR and we'll just have to keep planning trips!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I don't think you want me as your nanny :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Just kidding. I'm not that bad. I must've done something right. The littlest one went home and took a 4 1/2 hour nap!
So, Harvey had me proof read a contract that he's writing and he through in quite a joke. There was a section that read something like "should a riot, war, fire, act of God..." :rotfl2: Totally cracked me up!!! He laughed and said "should I take out the riot part?" Too funny. :rotfl: Of course he changed it, but it was just funny because sometimes you have to be SO specific to get out of a contract. Anyway, that was my fun for tonight. I did have some Oreos, that was a good time.:rotfl: :rotfl: Have a good night

Ok I really need to check this in the morning before I'm at work! I cannot answer the phone when I'm laughing like this!!:rotfl:

So nice of you to proof read for him! Contracts are crazy these days that's for sure!

HEY! I could hire your husband to write an adoption contract if we need an attorney right?? Does he give your imaginary friends a deal? :rotfl:

Alright...I really need to get to work today...I kind of slacked yesterday and no one's here this morning so I don't want it to be another slacker day....maybe I do...I don't know! :rolleyes1

OH! Oreos...those are my favorite! You should have shared! :rotfl: Oreos, orange slushes and Jim and Nick's lemonade...those are pretty much my vices. Dan had to go back to his office last night to get some stuff he forgot and stopped at Jim and Nick's on the way home and brought me back a GALLON of lemonade! :cloud9: Of course I never got any because the rest of the mooches were all over it last night but hopefully tonight I'll get some!

Alright...really should work now :goodvibes

Great pictures Lynn!!! You are so photogenic. I am SO not. My oldest takes great pictures like you. K, so here are the ones that really caught my eye. The closeup of Carter and grandma in front of the castle is great. I LOVE the pictures of Carter with Stitch. (can't spell that name. I've typed it four different times, apparently that RIFF program isn't working so well :rotfl: )
Those pictures are so stinkin cute!!!
Love the one of Corbin when he's looking at Minnie sideways. Like he wants to look at her, but he's not going to move his head. :rotfl2: And of course the ones with Corbin in front of the hat.
Don't you just love how Minnie was making a move on your man at the party? I saw her kissing him. She better step off! ;)
I had forgotten that you were at the party by yourself for a while. I'm glad you got some pictures of yourself. That is one thing that I don't like about being the photographer. I'm not in a lot of pictures. Which is o.k., I don't really like pictures of myself, but when someone asks for one, I usually don't have any.
Hope your hump day is going well. I haven't done anything yet except a load of laundry. I'm pretty sure I'm not making dinner tonight. Too much going on and not enough time to make it. Oh darn;)

O.K., go to work now. Just don't read your TR cuz I think I made a funny on there too:rotfl2: Sorry. I had to laugh when you said "imaginary friend". Too funny:rotfl: He's not licensed in MI, and I think you have to be licensed in the state where the adoption is taking place. I really do wish the best for your friends who are adopting. I hope the birth mother doesn't back out. That would be horrible.
Do you want me to take the moochers who took your lemonade? I can take em :confused3 Just kidding. That is a pet peeve of mine. I'll buy a treat and by the time I get around to eating/drinking it, it's gone. GRRR!!!
K, go to work. I'm sure we'll talk later.
Have a good day!

I just realized after looking at your signature that you will be there in December the same time my DS15 and I will be. This will be his first trip and I'm excited (our first visit was back in 1994 but sadly his dad had a sudden heart attack in the hotel room & died before we got to visit the parks - my youngest son who is now 15 was 18 mos old then. I took my oldest 3 in 1997 but my youngest 2 ended up staying home due to my sis-in-law's influence. She said the 12 of us would have more fun if the younger ones stayed home so she talked me into buying them a game system & toys. I actually asked my then DS4 & DS10 if they wanted to come to WDW or stay with their great uncle and they chose toys & great uncle! I regretted not taking them then. My DS who is now 21 doesn't really cherish the idea of going to WDW - would rather upgrade his cell phone :confused3 oh well :lmao: )

Sorry for the long story but your 2 boys seemed to have a blast and that just reminded me how I regretted not taking them when they were young :sad2: Hopefully my DD & DGS (who turns 1 on Sunday) will be able to join us for a few days so I will get to see his reaction to the characters and rides. Great photopass pics - all of them came out great (I loved the ones of you by yourself - I agree - you are very photogenic! I take terrible pics - taking them with a camera and having them taken of me:rotfl:

Happy Tuesday Jill!!!!

Happy Tuu... er, ah a mean Wednesday to you

I did have some Oreos, that was a good time.:rotfl: :rotfl: Have a good night

Hmmmpph! Everyone is having Oreos but me. I bought a package of the Halloween orange ones for our little Trick or Treat gathering we are having and stuck them in the pantry ....... yeah uh they seem to have mysteriously disappeared - A WHOLE package!

Yeah I think we're just going to stay off property this time so our friends can stay right with us. This way we can find a good place to stay next time we all want to go together since we'll have a new baby with us and everything like that! :goodvibes

I am so disappointed for you. I remember when you were so excited about AKL!!!! There is no way to hold on to it??
This really makes it difficult for me to send the kids something at the resort!

and um who is Jim and Nick?
