HORRID van service!!!

We just returned from Disney last night. We used a van service that is not allowed to be named here and now I know why!!

First off their website said airport to Boardwalk round trip= $85. With coupon it would cost $80. Now that we are home I see my card was charged $85. I was just told by customer service that the rate was $90 so with the coupon it is $85. Follow me so far? Then she tells me, in so many words, that I should be lucky because now the rate is $100 so I actually saved $15! HUH!!?? I LOST $5!! I did not save $15.

This is not the worst of it!! They were 45 minutes late picking us up at the airport then the van kept stalling ON THE HIGHWAY!! SOOOO not only do I have to enteratain a 1 year old at the airport for 45 minutes but I have 2 children in the van and we are stopped dead on the highway between 4-6 times!! Can you say DANGEROUS!

Not only did they NOT have anything to say about this horrid service but they are trying to rip me off $5!!!

Sorry for the vent but I am sooooo p@##ed off. I know we are not allowed to mention this van company's name but if anyone wants to know who to avoid PM me! I will tell you!!
 
So sorry to hear about your van service, next time try Tiffany and ask for Berkley Edwards, you will not be disappointed!! He is just fantastic.
 
Wooo. I am glad I canceled them months ago and now is going with Murray Hill:). Sorry for your bad experience:(. I know when I confirmed with them it was originally $100 and I got $10 off, so I would have paid $90. If you were confirmed w/disc of $85 that was great but sorry that they didn't honor your $5 off.

Well I got an e-mail from them and the girl that answers the phone said she spoke to the owner and she was wrong. She didn't realize I confirmed BEFORE the price increase. I am getting the $5 back. Now how do I get rid of the gray hairs I gained chasing Luke all around the airport and saving him from being run down by the Skycaps?:rolleyes:
Doesn't change anything though. Her patronizing tone and lack of concern has lost me!
 

I know the company!!! We used them in May for Limo and van service . I posted an honest report of the service. I was flammed by many other people for being harsh. I just wanted to give other families the real story.

Not all that accommodating of them to give the $5 back anyway...they probably realized you could have disputed it on your charge card and you would have won, so they were pretty much stuck. A good reason to pay by charge card!

Flaming would be harsh I think. They did a horrible job and put us in a bit of a dangerous spot! I think if your post was honest and gave details of your experience people should have been grateful for the info. I would have been and wished I had read it before our trip! I have used them years ago when they were owned by someone else and LOVED it! Wish things didn't change!!

Actually, it's easy to tell if the company you are thinking of is the one that shall not be named, and is referred to here. We know, for starters, that it's definitely not FL Tours. But, if it's something else, just reply to this thread and post the name of your company. If you get asterisks instead, you'll know you've got the right one. For example, if I was wondering if it was Happy Limo, posting would answer the question. I can read it, so it's not the one that has been the cause of so much ruckus.

Is that correct? I really want to avoid them with all of the bad reports they are getting.... it isn't worth the worry. I will stick with renting a car and Emerald Club with National...

DUDS! How did you do that? That is the company that I used and will NEVER use again!
 
Sorry about your experience, Samantha! Bad way to start out your vacation. I'll make sure I don't go with them when I go in January. This trip I'm renting a car, but will probably go with a town car in Jan since it will be such a short trip and I really won't need the car.

I hope the rest of your trip was good!

we used a company called sunray transportation a while back. they were great and they were former drivers from the asterik company, check them out next time.
