I just looked at the weather forecast for our trip next week. It's not looking good! I was looking forward to being at BCV & enjoying the Flower & Garden Festival. After 5 nights we are moving to the Polynesian for 2 nights. I hope it doesn't rain all day everyday. I was getting excited about this trip...now I'm feeling pretty discouraged.

It does rain in Florida - often. That said, the weather man is often wrong. Bring rain gear - you may need it. Or, you may not need it. I have lived in the Orlando area for years and the only thing I am sure about the weather here is that it changes a lot. Enjoy your trip

Usually this time of year a shower is rare at best. It's been hotter than normal for this time of year (I live about 65 miles due west of WDW). It sprinkled today but only for about 5 min. Our afternoon Tstorms won't get going until mid June so a passing shower should be all that you really get. I know here they are not forecasting any long term rain, even on days where there is a 50% chance of rain. Just expect it to be hot. Like almost 90 hot. We have been running about 7-10 degrees warmer than normal.

I wouldnt be too overly concerned about rain there. As yarleena said, bring rain gear and be prepared, but I have found the weather reports to be spotty approaching most WDW trips. Dont fret about it too much, go have a good time, and if it does rain, a big plus is you get the parks to yourself as they tend to empty out.

I've been looking at the YoWindow weather app. According to them it's going to rain all day everyday. I'm beginning to doubt the accuracy though since they forecast the same for home, which is not what the local guys are saying. I'm OK with quick daily showers, just hoping for no all day downpours. I think next time I won't even look at the weather forecast before a trip & just prepare for rain just in case.

I am there for part of this week. The forecast is for afternoon/evening showers, much like the summer afternoon storms that move through Fla. The mornings should always be good and then anytime after 2 PM you could get rain that should last no more than an hour.

I wouldn't trust any forecast more than about 48-72 hours in advance. I think the reliability drops substantially after that. Where I live they sometimes don't even get "tomorrow" right.

So far it's been much better than forecasted. No rain at all today...hopefully the rest of the week will be good too. It has definitely been hotter than expected though. Some local people told us it's been more like August...I don't know about that.

One thing we don't worry about is the weather. Nothing you can do about it, so we don't stress over it. Usually in April/May we have less rain, but it's been hotter than normal.

Just for fun I've been tracking the long range weather forecast for my trips to WDW. I've been doing it for a few years now. I've found that even 7 days out the forecasts are very unreliable. They don't have any reliability, as far as I've seen, until 2 days before.
