Love your honeymoon plans! We stayed at POR and it was beautiful, POFQ looks really nice too. The boats to DTD are awesome and convenient. And one day I am dying to stay at AKL! That is my #1 resort choice for a future trip but we can't afford a deluxe right now. Someday though!

Our Wedding Party <3

Mark and I have some many wonderful people in our lives and so many people that have been by our side for so long. Two very special people are both of our best friends who we have known for a very long time. They are the two people that we can call about anything, talk to hours about nothing, and always have by our side. They are both full of entertainment and have the perfect personalities for our wedding party. Jennifer and Dexter will be our maid of honor and best man for our wedding.

Maid of Honor – Jennifer:

Jennifer and I have been best friends and known each other for over 16 years. We have been by each other’s side through the best of times, and the worst of times. We experienced everything from their 1st grade trip to the zoo to their high school graduation walking across that stage. Jen is known as family to the Brogley family and frequents Thanksgiving and other family events. She is like a 4th daughter to my father and she will do anything in the world for the family. Jen and I grew up side by side throughout their 12 years in Pottstown and always stayed close through college (even if Jen ran away to Disney World to be in the College program.) I feel that it is an honor to have Jen by my side on my wedding day and can’t wait for more years to come with her.

Best Man – Dexter

Dexter and Mark have been friends since middle school and expanded their friendship in college. Their friendship really began over a Turkey Leg, yes a Renaissance Faire Turkey Leg in middle school. It was their first field trip together and Dexter had just enough money for that 1 turkey leg, but of course he didn’t like it. With no more money and still a hungry belly, Mark’s father came to the rescue and Mark and Dexter have been friends ever since. They continued their friendship throughout the years, attending school events, college tours, graduations, and so much more. They have even been through 8 cars altogether of countless nights working on them. They will always will there for one another no matter what and their friendship has always been strong. Mark knows that Dexter is the perfect guy to be his Best Man at the wedding.

Mark and I are excited to say that we will be adding more special guests soon.

Having so many people mean to the world to you,
Who will do anything in the world for you,
And will always be by your side…
Now that is A Dream Come True.​

My Wedding Dress <3

One of the most important parts of my special day is the dress! I want to share it with you to get feedback, ideas for hair, and would love ideas for veil.

The picture of course does not do it justice. It is actually sparkly from the small "crystals" throughout the dress. It has a perfect sweetheart neckline and fits to perfection.

Same ring?? Do you have a close up picture of yours? I have 4 stones and the a 2 stong combo on each side of the large diamond.

So basically you are saying we are Dis Wedding twins? lol

Honeymoon Transporation <3

So I have spend hours and hours planning our Honeymoon and feel I have made one of the most perfect plans for DFi and I. He let me make most of the decision and had some input on things, including the resort. But the one thing that he really wants to decide is our transportation.

Currently we are in between 2 options - 1. Fly and 2. Drive. DFi would really like to drive for various reasons, and I would love to fly and make life easy. But, I think since I planned everything else I am going to help him make the decision.

Here is some background if we drive. We have 3 different cars in our house; 1. 2001 Chevy Corvette, 2. 2011 Jeep Compass and 3. GMC Yukon. First, if we drive I will say the Yukon is out the picture! With 11MPG, no way!

The Jeep and Corvette are in a tie (if we drive). The Jeep gets about 27 MPG highway (we think, we have only put 1100 miles on it so far). The Corvette is right around 25. So lets call it even and say that both get 26 MPG.

We would be driving from Pennsylvania, and to be exact based on google map 1,001 miles each way. If we were to go 2,002 miles round trip, at 26 mpg, and $3.60 a gallon on gas -- We would spend about $280 on gas. (Of course this doesn't include driving around WDW)

Now, if we fly - looks like I could get Southwest around $89 one way. That brings before tax and fees to around $356!

Drive - 16 Hours One Way (Would have to leave at 5am to get there by 9 pm)
Fly - 1 Hour before/after airport + 2.5 hour flight +1.5 hour to get to airport = 6 Hours

So what do you think, is it worth the hassle of driving to please DFi? Or should I hold strong to my case?

I'd fly but that's because I know DFi would be okay with it.

It sounds like flying is much less of a hassle and will just be easier. BUT, if your DFi has his heart set on driving, that's something I'd consider.

I'd show him this info and ask him what he thinks!

Let us know what you two decide!

You are all great and I really appreciate the feedback. I think this is going to be one of those things to make DFi happy. I guess since I get to plan the wedding and honeymoon, I will let him have some say! I will keep you updated!​

Finally I created and ordered our save the dates! My plan was to make them on my own, but Target gave a $20 credit to use on Shutterfly...so I took advantage of it!

They should arrive in 7-10 days, then they will be in the mail.

By the way -- I will be away for a few days My DFi and I are both studying for our CPA exam, which is on Wednesday. So these next two days are nothing but studying! We took some vacation time to study.

If you don't know, CPA stands for Certified Public Accountant. There are 4 exams over an 18 month period. So I look at every test as do or die But, we got this one! And with some extra pixie dust these next two days I know we can do it!

So don't worry, I will be back!!!​
