Hilton Head in August

We have gone to HHI for the past six years for our spring break. This year we only have a February break (which I know would be too cold for HHI). We are considering going to HHI instead of WDW in August. What would be our chances of getting a 2 bedroom for the week of August 17th at the 7 month mark?

I would think you'd probably be able to get it. HH has a lot of 2BR's.

We went two years ago during that same time in August, we had no problems getting a reservation for a 2br unit 7 months out. Many states in the south start school in early August, so as you get towards the end of the month its a slower season. Be prepared for some wicked humidity, I thought it was bad in Connecticut during August, its nothing compared to the humidity down south in the summer.
